Victory Cafe saved my life, sort of...

I was camping overnight in the bush and on waking realised I'd forgotten the matches to make coffee and didn't have enough food! Desperate, I threw the tent and camping gear in the boot, brushed off the leeches and headed to the Victory Cafe. This might be generous on account of my starving... read more

The cappuccinos are still excellent. Have been there quite a few times over the past few years. It is our "must stop" place when we drive up the mountains from Sydney. We had lunch there this time. I am always impress with the coffee and the meals. I had the pot pie and it was wonderful. Service as usual is... More

Ate at Victory for breakfast this week. Busy café which is obviously a locals hangout. Food was tasty and enjoyable - I had the Potato Rosti & poached egg with salmon and rocket; hubby had Eggs Bene with Salmon and sourdough toast. I enjoyed loose leaf herbal tea, thank god no teabags and hubby enjoyed his coffee. The constantly opening... More

Had lunch here today with friends. We all had the vegetarian toasted sandwich on foccacia - very tasty and well presented. Good value too at $13 each. Venue is a little noisy, and cramped, but a good "vibe" all round.

Had a delicious breakfast here this morning. Fast, efficient service with generous servings. Coffee made exactly the way we asked (not too strong). Lots of choices on the menu. Would definitely recommend and will coming back again.

This is an interesting place. To the rear of the cafe is an antique/second hand store with lots of interesting things on offer, worth an hour in itself. We were greeted by a very friendly girl who found us a table for the five of us. She found us menus and made us feel welcome. We ordered a range of... More

On a cold day came here for lunch. It was the weekend so it was busy - but managed to get a table ok. Service was good and fairly fast. The soup special was decent - tomato and bacon. One of our party had the calamari and was unimpressed - did not taste fresh - likely frozen. Otherwise it was... More

After the challenge of packing and departing our holiday rental by 10am by 10.06 am (a new family record!) we were all on need of food and parents desperate for coffee. The Victory did not disappoint. Fast friendly service, well priced varied menu. Kids were happy with Turkish toast and bacon, I had potato rosti with soft poached eggs and... More

Looking for eggs Benedict for breaky and there it was on the menu. Attached to what looked to be an extensive antiques co op in the old Victory theatre. Service was friendly, efficient and prompt, high chairs available. Food was lovely, we had eggs Benny, an omelette and scrambled eggs with feta / side of bacon. Tea was hot, cups... More

Great breakfast, one of the best with regard to presentation and taste that we have had. Coffee is also very good.
