The Wattle is always excellent and we are regular patrons. I dropped in by myself for breakfast, had eggs benedict with bacon and hash browns. Eggs were perfectly poached, bacon cooked just perfectly, hollondaise beautiful and rich and hash browns lovely and crisp. The muffins in the display cabinet looked so inviting that I had to get one take away...wow....went... More

Stopped by on our way across the mountains for a vegetarian lunch. There were several options and the fresh juice menu was all too enticing. The cafe was half full but we were served within a few minutes and had our food and drinks within 5 minutes. The polite and speedy service make this a memorable place.

The wait staff were all lovely so the scoring is not a reflection of them! I asked if the muffins/cake etc were fresh. Everything (except for the banana bread) was 'fresh' I was told at 2-3 days old. In my book, particularly when you are charging me close to $5 for a muffin, I'd like something made that day! The... More

Pretty basic fare - sandwiches, burgers etc... but good value for the Blue Mountains, my sandwiches were huge. Nothing out of the ordinary but if you need to fill a gap in your stomach it's a good bet.

Overflowing at lunch time, the place opens early so good for a quick bite with its special smoothies. Being on the main road, it saves time while heading out for sightseeing. The interiors are cozy and comfortable, with art work displayed for sale. The service is good and pleasant, but the washroom is a bit of a low point.

We have been here often. We especially love the chips, although of course we should never have them. The goats cheese salad is also a favorite, as is the mediterranean veg sandwich. Coffee is okay, not top level but fine. Local artists' work on the walls can be interesting. Staff are generally helpful and cheerful. Overall a pretty good place... More

I must have walked past this establishment many, many times and was slightly put off by the drab exterior, but recently our usual eatery in that area was closed so we thought that we would give it a try. It was lunchtime and we were fortunate to get the very last available table. We almost had second thoughts about staying... More
