I had a great lunch with good friends at Cafe Bahia on what turned out to be their last day in business before they closed for the summer. My friends and I shared three different salads and had Tamarind Margaritas, which were outstanding!

Cafe Bahia is a such a slice of Yelapa and the people who travel there, you simply don't want to miss it.
Susan puts together a fresh menu daily, an interesting cross-section of Mexican yummies with American fare. If you're in town, Sunday brunch is not to be missed.
If you dare to pin your hopes on anything, hope you'll...

Wonderful localization which you can have an amazing view of the sweet cove of Yelapa. The service is really cozy and you can have a good idea how this little village is enchanting! Food is really good quality. I ate some of the omeletes of the day with goat cheese, avocado and tomatoes. Amazingly with some homemade fresh bread. The...

Cafe Bahia is provides fabulous, fresh food in an amazing and lovely environment. The chef is top notch; the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and caring; the atmosphere is relaxing; scenery can't be beat. Must stop for anyone coming to Yelapa and the food is so good it warrants a day trip from Puerto Vallarta!
The service was fantastic - our kids were so happy with the food selection. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere can't be beat.
Amazing breakfast, great service, friendly staff. Stuffed french toast was very delicious and we also purchased some banana coconut muffins for one of our day trips and they fresh and great. Worth the stop.
We had breakfast here one morning and coffee once before heading out for a fishing trip. Warm hospitality, very helpful.

Anyway, this is a fabulous place to stop for breakfast or for a break after walking up and down the hills around Yelapa. The activity...

What a nice spot. The staff is terrific... it really is the heart of the town. Ken knows everybody and everything, and the service is friendly; if you talk with a staffer one day, they'll remember you and ask about your stay when you see them next. Nice place indeed.
