At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food. Our Haywards Heath restaurant is located at the end of the High Street, close to Blue Bell Railway Station. And if you’re taking the quick trip from Gatwick or the seaside town of Brighton, stop in and have a bite to eat. Inside the restaurant you’ll find a mixture of drawing, painting and sculpture inspired by the local Bluebell Railway and different aspects of railway life including old posters, technical drawings and typography. Enjoy a glass of Chianti in these relaxed and picturesque surroundings where you can be sure of a warm welcome.Dine al fresco with an outdoor dining area for sunny weather.

Good dinner

Never a fan of chains, but we had a great dinner at Zizzis which could not be faulted. Great service in a vibrant restaurant , but the booze is so expensive and why is the coffee served in those silly egg-cups? What is wrong with coffee cups? That said, we had a good experience which we enjoyed... read more

My daughter booked a table for the two of us, we were welcomed and shown to our table Our waitress was not very friendly, but she was very efficient, so no complaints about service. Calamari starters, a pizza, a sea bass al cartoccio, a trio of ices and an affogato made up our really tasty meal. The atmosphere was good... More

The meal was OK, nothing special. The service was OK. I ordered the kebab of fish, they were great about my request for no potatoes but replace with vegetables but the food gets so cold so quickly because it is suspended in the air, so after the first few bites, despite looking really great, it is cold, and is one... I was here on Monday for a Mothers day meal and couldn't have had a better meal. there were seven of us, we all had something different. All the food came together and all was marvellous. My 'carbonara' was the best I've ever had. Make sure you are hungry when you go as the portions are very generous. The service... More

i had heard from numerous people about Zizzi and well it was time to check it out for myself. We were able to book 20 mins before arrival and were seated promptly. The atmosphere was very family orientated and quite busy throughout our time there with prompt service. It appeared a little short staffed but still serviced well. The meals... More

A typical Zizzi’s set in an old chapel that’s been creatively extended with part in the main body of the chapel and part in a lighter split level extension. We were there on a busy Sunday when some large parties were also dining. Service was not that fast but we were in no hurry. Staff were as attentive as numbers... More

Great menu for kids and adults alike, prices are fair and the staff actually seem to like children which can make or break a trip for me, my husband and 4 year old. Plenty of space means that when your little one gets a bit fed up of sitting they can get up from the table and jog around without... More

Food was good, spicy pasta dishes are quite tasty. wine list is ok but limited. Not much of a children's menu, it's pizza. Would return again if in the area.
