I have eaten here a few times and find the food rather poor. The menu reads lovely however its just frozen microwaved rubbish in essence. The most disappointing thing about this pub is that despite selling some decent real ales if you are not eating and just want to have a drink, there is never enough staff behind the bar.... More

Had lunch and a pint sat outside in the sun. You can't get away from the fact it is right next door to one of the main road into haywards Heath so is quite noisy. However, I'm pleases to say the interior is very pleasant. The staff and service was good and could not fault this. The lunch time food... More

Eaten here before, the staff are always welcoming and helpful and they are good with children too. Food is well cooked and presented with a good menu choice. Good selection of beers and wines, eat inside or outside. Worth a visit if in Haywards Heath.

The sergison has such a lovely atmosphere & is always so cosy & comfortable. I had dinner there last friday evening with friends & it was very nice as always. I ordered the brie starter which was served with onion marmalade (one reason i love this place haha). Then the red wine & pork sausages with mash which was to... More

Dined with some long term friends last Friday and have to say one of the worse meal ever. From start the service was poor with one waiter struggling to cope with too many tables. Food was very poor, cold, burn't and unappetising. Not one of the six of us enjoyed their meal. The dessert sold as Eton Mess was certainly... More

I ordered the chicken burger and when it arrived it was rock hard and inedible. I brought it to the attention of the waitress who refused to take it back as the chef would get angry! The manager came over and also said it "looked" ok, without actually touching it. I was in disbelief at this. I told the manager... More

Had dinner at the Sergison Arms on Saturday as we were craving fish and chips. The piece of cod that came was the think end of the loin and it was very nice. Only thing was the mushy peas were not quite hot, more like tepid. It has been hit and miss here for some over the past year or... More

Such a nice venue but once again the food lets it down. The Garlic bread sharer starter was a palid undercooked doughy lump with cheesey sludge on top. We always order safely at vintage inns, you can't go too wrong with chips and gammon/pie. So wish Vintage Inns would sort the food quality out. Would come again but only for... More

We visited on a Friday evening with friends and left extremely disappointed . Two of the mains were substandard, a fish pie that seemed to lack fish and a broad bean and feta burger that lacked both. When bought to the attention of the staff the manager attended our table to explain that it was not their fault but the... More
