Great experience

This was a wonderful Sunday lunch. Wine amazing. Food fabulous. Service great and a really nice atmosphere.Free wifi and everything was no bother. One thought was that it was such a foul day that one of the fires being lit would of been nice. Though when we left we all said how warm we were as the... read more

We were treated very well and my 89 year old father was well looked after especially. The food was delicious and from a well thought out menu. Prices very reasonable.Comfortable seating, nicely aired which we noticed on a particularly hot day. Large car park. Decent beer including Harveys Bitter.

This is truly an idyllic pub and restaurant set in the Sussex country side with bags of character and has become my new favourite ‘local’! The gardens are immaculately kept and in fair weather can be enjoyed by couples and families alike. There is a small but well equipped children’s play area that is kept separate from the main garden... More

Absolutely amazing. I visited the coach and horses on Saturday night. I must say the food was absolutely exquisite. I had the monkfish cheeks, what a beautiful dish, the broth not to infused with the ginger to make it displeasing to the pallet, and the pak choi and I believe mange tout garnish amazing adding such a refreshing flavour and... Who said that real Sussex pubs are long gone?! This was my fourth visit to the Coach and Horses and it still amazes me how they keep up with fresh ideas for the menu. The pub is located in a beautiful part of Sussex and it's a real old pub, none of this chain rubbish. Staff are friendly and the... More

A lovely pub set in a great location. The large garden is very well kept with plenty of seating. There is a god sized car park at the rear of the pub. We were made very welcome by Helen , the lady behind bar. There is a very extensive lunch menu. I ordered the Coach burger - what a disappointment -... More

Popped out for an evening catch up with an old friend and thought we'd treat ourselves to dinner. I have been many times before to the Coach and never fail to leave fully satisfied and happy. Food was up to its usual high standards and the staff friendly and helpful too. I will be going back and will be taking... More
