Loving the new refurb......!!

We have been to the Robin Hood on Mother's Day for the past two years. This year we were delighted to see that a beautiful refurbishment had taken place and the pub/restaurant had literally re-opened the day before. We loved the new look.....Smart new wallpaper, shiny paint, posh new carpets, new... read more

We went to the Robin Hood recently to celebrate the 18th birthday of a friends daughter. We were expecting a delicious meal, having eaten here before, only to be bitterly disappointed. I had ordered whitebait as a starter which came out practically cremated!! and my main course of duck breast with a red wine "jus" was also overcooked and just... More

We come down to West Sussex as we love the Premier Inn that's attached to the Robin Hood - they are run by different companies but they complement each other well. But it is the Pub and restaurant that really makes our stay here special. They do Pub Food, yes, but there are so many out-of-the-ordinary things on the menu.... More

My son booked this pub/restaurant for my Mother's Day surprise, and we were all pleasantly surprised as it had just reopened this weekend after a major refurbishment and it's fabulous! Very contemporary and rustic looking, the staff are very welcoming, polite, friendly and professional. The ambience is lovely and the food is superb, very plentiful, tastes homemade and the Yorkshire... More

I'll admit that I expected it to be good as it was the first day of opening after a big refurb but there's always room for cock ups!! Staff were welcoming and friendly, food was well cooked and came quickly. Nice atmosphere and very tastefully decorated. All in all a really good experience and certainly better than the run of... Ordered homemade chicken and ham pie..came with mash and veg...gravy was instant and was a beef gravy not then a chicken gravy that you would expect with the meal i'd ordered. At a restaurant you don't really expect to get instant gravy..not good enough. Tad pricey too..service ok though..

The pub is attached to the Premier Inn. The food is fine, but the problem we had was with the manager and the booking of tables. On a Friday night, we went there at 6pm to reserve a specific table for 8pm (beware, some of the tables are right under ceiling heaters which makes them unbearably hot and stuffy). The... More

Stayed at the PI next door and decided to eat here rather than driving into Bognor, as it was a cold night and we were tired. Friendly bar staff, nicely decorated restaurant with a happy buzz, subtle background music and comfortably warm. What more could you ask for at the price? I had the gammon with egg, pineapple, chips etc... More
