Called in for an evening meal as the menu was so varied - something to suit everyone in our party of 6. It was very busy and we did have to wait possibly longer than usual but not a problem for us as we loved the warm, cosy room and pleasant atmoshere. The meals were lovely - all perfectly cooked... This charming pub offers a very friendly staff, a roaring fire, and excellent food. Great for dinner or a late evening pint!

Read the pub's website, to get a flavour of why the Horseshoe is different. It's straight up and down, popular, atmospheric, no gastro this and that, and no Farrow and Ball paint schemes. Ideal for meat eaters.

Quality pub grub with a twist, well kept ales, decent wines, and even decent coffee. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic steaks from local butcher. You have the meat brought to the table and you can choose the cut and size of steak you want.....it's then cooked to perfection! We get our meat from the same butcher now. Lovely friendly pub with great atmosphere.

Dropped in for a well-earned pint and found The Horseshoe to be warm, welcoming and a nice pint too (we had tried the Black Horse earlier but this place is far nicer). We'll definitely be making another visit.

We were made welcome by the owner who went out of his way to suggest the local beers for us to try, even giving us a sample of the local gin, which was far too strong for me to drink!. The evening meal was delightfully served and exceeded our expectations

After a long drive from Norfolk we stopped at The Horseshoe for some lunch and enjoyed a damned fine fish pie, and Scallops served with black pudding and green beans. A great pint to wash it down. We received a warm welcome from the proprietor and friendly staff and locals. We shall look forward to another visit when next in... More
