Looked at this restaurant on the internet, had a short wait for a table. Waiters very attentive and happy to help. Food was excellent, in particular the spiced sea bass for starter was excellent. At the end of the evening the bill was good value for money. I would recommend anyone to eat here

Although the Dilruba may be a great restaurant the take away service is awful. Twice now I have ordered from there in the last couple of months, both times the food is cold and I have to heat it up but last nights takeaway experience was the last straw. Sorry dilruba but I will no longer be a customer. Ordered... More

I am genuinely bewildered to read ANY negative reviews about The Dilruba! Authentic Indian food is such a passion with me, and has been since I was a teenager, and having lived all over the globe and dined in countless cities and towns on my travels, I can say with absolute sincerity that The Dilruba is THE shining star amongst... I ordered a takeaway on new years eve. I have ordered from here before I have noticed a decline in the quality of the food and an increase in prices. We ordered two main dishes, rice, naan, chips and 4 poppadoms to be shared between two adults and 1 child. We were charged £28!!!! The rice was missing, poppadoms soggy,food... More

We ate in December 14, I ordered the most expensive main course advertising a fresh king prawn curry, my wife had a salmon curry. The curry received had only two king prawn and the rest of the pieces in the curry were large onion and tomato chunks, with one or two pieces of a fatty material that I couldn't identify.... More

I recently ate at the Dilruba with my son. The menu is extensive and the prices are competitive with others in the town. My only gripe was that the food was warm rather than hot - tow ladies sitting next to must have felt the same because they sent theirs back to be reheated. A shame really.

We dined at the Dilruba for my birthday, the food was very good and the service was too. Price wise was a little more than usual. I found the restaurant let themselves down on the cutlery etc my main plate had a big chip out of it and so did the dish that held my rice. The glass I had... More

This used to be our favourite regular Indian restaurant, but not any more as there are far better places in Rugby now. The last couple of occasions we've visited we found it to be over priced & the portions were small or had mostly sauce & little meat content, personally I think too many corners are being cut to try... The atmosphere was superb! I walked inside and the welcome was very warm, the waiter was extremely friendly and professional. I got a table in seconds and the waiter prepared everything including napkins on our laps! The restuarant itself is extremely clean, appealing and smells fantastic!! The food was beyond belief I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the naan was to... More
