Description: Welcome to the Toby Carvery Washington. When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Tyne & Wear’s favourite carvery restaurant. Drop by and you'll find lots more on offer, including cooked breakfasts and tasty specials.

the toby carvery is a very nice restaurant and has great atmosphere. we go here as a family a couple times a month and we all think its great. it has a good variety of food as well as the carvery. This place is suitable for both vegetarians and meat eaters, id definitely recommend this carvery to anyone.

I went as I was fed up with poor food at the Campanile. What a pleasure. Quality was excellent price very reasonable. We had to wait for a table but when we did get one we could see why people came to it. Excellent carvery with freshly cooked food.

Visited for a meal for my sons birthday. Food was lovely and service excellent. Our waiter was a young man called Liam who was very polite and professional, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be visiting again next month for my daughters birthday. Mrs Milford

We were staying in the Premier Inn near by and decided to have our evening meal here. Warning bells rang when we saw a notice on the door saying that the price of the Cavery was increasing to £9.95(or thereabouts) because it was a Bank Holiday.!! The place was virtually empty. We only stayed because our son was very hungry... More

If you don't mind your lunch early then get down for 1145. Sat straight down, order for drinks taken immediately and about half a dozen people in the queue for the Carvery. Tucking into to a delicious Sunday lunch by noon. I get a portion of all meat, each one cooked lovely, with the turkey coming out as a close... More

This is the second time we ate here as we were staying at the premier inn next door. The carvery was good but the starters were not. We ordered two prawn cocktails and two garlic mushrooms. The prawn cocktails looked impressive at first but were actually a lettuce cocktail with about 4 tiny prawns on top! they were supposed to... More
