We started out in Kingston in 2001 and opened our Walton restaurant in June 2014. Our owner, executive chef, and many of our staff are Turkish and they have proudly drawn on their heritage to create a little corner of Turkey in the UK. Our food is cooked by chefs who were brought up with traditional Turkish cooking and who have been trained to the highest standards in Istanbul. We want you to enjoy the true taste of Turkey so the interiors of both restaurants are designed with Turkish decor. And all food is served in authentic Turkish cooking utensils such as clay pots. THE ORIGINS OF OUR NAME According to ancient history, Cappadocia was the birthplace of St George. It means "the land of beautiful horses and was an extensive inland district of Asia Minor, which is now modern Turkey. The first settlers built their homes into stone cliffs and burrowed their cities underground. Today tourists are drawn to Cappadocia by its unusual scenery, and of course to stay in a cave hotel.

This is by far the best Turkish around. The service is very professional and the manager is friendly and welcoming. Now the food, or to be exact the meat is of very good quality grilled to perfection. The sharing plates are well put together. I am getting hungry to commenting about it, on the phone to book a table right... More

I love Turkish food, and this did not disappoint. Food was fresh and full of flavour. Some dishes were priced quite high, but we didn't mind as the food was great, as were the staff, friendly and helpful. We will be going back very soon.

Good food at reasonable prices, my preference is for the giant tiger prawns in garlic and white wine sauce. Very filling and tasty. A good place to stop off before seeing a film at the Odeon Kingston.

This was a lovely night out for my friend and I. Not only was the food very good, so was the service, atmosphere and in general was a lovely night out. They had belly dancers on Wednesday night.

We usually visit just for Kunafa. You won't get this taste even in Turkey, so say my mates. Amongst the mains, we haven't been disappointed by any dish so far and I prefer the Lahmachun with chilli sauce...even the chicken liver is yum !

As a group of friends we often visit on a Monday for the 'Special'. It has always been very good but sadly we have recently been disappointed! This time there were 7 of us and we were advised to have 3 double specials. However, 3 of us ended up sharing the amount meant for 2 as it was impossible to... More
