Description: We started out in Kingston in 2001 and opened our Walton restaurant in...
We started out in Kingston in 2001 and opened our Walton restaurant in June 2014. Our owner, executive chef, and many of our staff are Turkish and they have proudly drawn on their heritage to create a little corner of Turkey in the UK. Our food is cooked by chefs who were brought up with traditional Turkish cooking and who have been trained to the highest standards in Istanbul. We want you to enjoy the true taste of Turkey so the interiors of both restaurants are designed with Turkish decor. And all food is served in authentic Turkish cooking utensils such as clay pots. THE ORIGINS OF OUR NAME According to ancient history, Cappadocia was the birthplace of St George. It means "the land of beautiful horses and was an extensive inland district of Asia Minor, which is now modern Turkey. The first settlers built their homes into stone cliffs and burrowed their cities underground. Today tourists are drawn to Cappadocia by its unusual scenery, and of course to stay in a cave hotel.

High quality Turkish food as it should be served, prepared by native chefs, food is cooked in an open kitchen on a charcoal grill, mixed kebab is the best , I would recommend turkish pizza *( Lahmacun ) must be tested. Delicious mere selection and deserts very helpful and friendly staff ,

I been there for early dinner with my girlfriend. We tried the doner with the aubergines and was delicious. I also recommend to try the fruit juices, they are really special.

The best place to take out the whole family for a great meal. The food always tastes wonderful and served with perfect timing. Emrah a very friendly manager always takes good care of us when we visit. For birthdays we always get a treat which always makes us feel special. Even if you could not finish the meal (which happens... More

Great food, friendly staff. I had the halloumi cheese to start and the chicken shish as a main, both amazing! Very highly recommend!

I have been a regular weekly customer since 1994 even before it became Cappadocia and enjoy a close relationship with the restaurant. I would not have remained such a loyal customer for so long had I not enjoyed the menu over the years. Standards are high and the management take pride in their work, whether that be the food or... My wife, I and a friend (from Kingston area) enjoyed the vegetarian and non-vegetarian selections. The atmosphere was great; the smells added to the ambiance. Was worth waiting 3/4 hour.

I love Turkish cuisine but this is by far the worst restaurant I have ever been to, bar none. For the main course I ordered the Monk fish. For £18.50 I was expecting a thoroughly delicious and authentic meal. However, I was overcome with disappointment with what I was presented with. The fish was rubbery and was not as advertised.... Fare is typical Turkish restaurant, but this place scores on quality with tasty meat and well-seasoned dishes. Salads have some originality e.g. chicken in sesame seeds. It is not "posh", but retains a good atmosphere. I would rate the service as both friendly and efficient. In addition to the restaurant there is well-patronized take away.
