We started out in Kingston in 2001 and opened our Walton restaurant in June 2014.

Our owner, executive chef, and many of our staff are Turkish and they have proudly drawn on their heritage to create a little corner of Turkey in the UK.

Our food is cooked by chefs who were brought up with traditional Turkish cooking and who have been trained to the highest standards in Istanbul.

We want you to enjoy the true taste of Turkey so the interiors of both restaurants are designed with Turkish decor. And all food is served in authentic Turkish cooking utensils such as clay pots.

THE ORIGINS OF OUR NAME

According to ancient history, Cappadocia was the birthplace of St George. It means "the land of beautiful horses and was an extensive inland district of Asia Minor, which is now modern Turkey.

The first settlers built their homes into stone cliffs and burrowed their cities underground. Today tourists are drawn to Cappadocia by its unusual scenery, and of course to stay in a cave hotel.

Fun...fun....fun.....

Good wholesome fun and good food too......lots of it. Great evening, especially if you get a belly dancing night. Reasonably priced, friendly attentive staff and altogether a good experience.

I have been to Cappadocia many times as I am a Turkish food lover. The restaurant is the best place in London for Turkish cuisine.Everything is freshly-cooked in view and tastes so delicious. I would definitely recommend Cappadocia Restaurant, do not forget to make a booking as it always packed.

Cappadocia is indeed a fantastic restaurant and one of my top three in the whole of London. The service is great, the staff attentive and friendly and you feel welcome and comfortable from the outset. As for the food, the quality is excellent, the taste is sumptuous and the portions are generous. Having visited Turkey on various occasions, I can... More

Was recommended Cappadocia by a local and was delighted to find some great options for vegetarians. Went for the grilled Halloumi with a salad which was excellent. Added to that we found the service really friendly.

We went on our wedding anniversary. Being veggie, options were limited. Starters were great. many options to chose from. For main course, they only have 2 items on menu and both are below average in taste. I would go there just to have starters.

We came here for dinner after reading the reviews and were really impressed. We opted for the cold mezze plate to start; dips and traditional Turkish bread which was light and very tasty. The diner kebab was very generous with the meat and also served with bread. My partner thoroughly enjoyed eating it. I opted for a casserole style dish... More

I had passed by this restaurant several times, and today I decided to try it. Me and my other half took the set menu which was priced at 22 pounds each. The cold meze's were really lovely, all different with a lovely authentic taste and were served with lovely warm bread. This was followed by warm meze's which included livers... More

Not a cheap option, but great food and waiters dealt with two families with wide range of children ages well. Extremely meat biased menu but well cooked and presented. Best to avoid the Turkish coffee though
