I am running out of superlatives to describe Al Forno and the great staff that make it such a brilliant experience every time we use . We recently went for my wife's 40th birthday meal - 8 of us plus our 2 boys - and again we couldn't have been more welcoming, generous, hospitable, entertaining, patient and fun - superb.... More

This place is fantastic. It deserves all good reviews here. We really enjoyed our young boys' birthday here: the jokes the waiter was making were almost too funny for the kids, the pizzas for kids are great, and yes, the adult version is tasty as well. Thank you, we will be back again soon.

Amazing Italian restaurant. The food is amazing and tastes delicious. There are a large variety of options and the pizzas are amazing. The vibe is good, staff are mostly Italian. I believe it's a family owned restaurant. I've been here many many times and i've never been disappointed. Make sure you try the seafood pizza! Just divine. Not very costly... More

We enjoyed our food with my friends. We hoped that it was the same as new Malden. The restaurant seemed very dirty and the service was bad. I feel for the chef that work hard on there great goats cheese starter and great calamari and fantastic pizza. Please get staff who care and it will be as busy as you... More

22 of us for a birthday celebration and the staff were very helpful, friendly and generous with the Limoncello shots! Good food, reasonably priced but the outstanding thing here was the service.

For me, the test of a restaurant is how well they cater for my dairy intolerance. I wanted the sea bass dish, which is usually cooked in butter and served with creamy mashed potato. They did a special version of grilled sea bass with sauteed potatoes and some veg/salad. Also, my boyfriend had a large pizza. He thoroughly enjoyed it.... More

I was a regular at Al Forno up until the middle of 2013. I have now been able to return as work brings me this way again... The food remains absolutely authentic and totally enjoyable. The staff are as friendly and efficient as ever and I strongly recommend this restaurant to all. If you fancy excellent Italian cuisine, then save... More

What a disaster zone this place was. Turned up at 8.30 having booked earlier in the week. They pretended to know about the booking as they frantically tried to find a table. We stood like lemons for over 10 minutes whilst they prepared our seating. We ordered our drinks quickly enough but then sat for 20 mins before the starter... More
