Hampton Wicks The Foresters, situated on the High Street, brings a splash of Parisian style and Brooklyn charm to the traditional neighbourhood pub-restaurant. The wonderful dcor, incorporating open fires, cosy leather sofas and exposed brick walls meet with a no-children-under-ten policy to create a sophisticated, grown up feel thats still fun thanks to Sunday evenings Big Quiz (with a 50 cash prize), a regular geeky games nights, featuring all your favourite classic board games, live music performances on a Saturday as you dine, and a generally relaxed, convivial atmosphere created by both staff and guests. The Foresters modern British menu changes every month, the chefs skills and imagination supported by seasonal produce fresh from the market, allowing for delectable daily specials. The kid of local most Londoners must dream of finding, The Foresters, with its Sunday roasts and friendly feel, well stocked bar and blackboard offerings, is a real must-visit pub. Children must be over the age of 10 to dine in this restaurant.

Lunch with a client

As my local I don't eat in the restaurant that much...however last week I took a client over. The service was excellent & the wine was lovely.. Really enjoyed it & the client had a great time. Next time though going to let the Manager pick my food as I was rubbish & went safe!

Not local to The Foresters and so travelled-up from Winchester, to have Sunday lunch with family members. The table was booked in advance and was ready and waiting, upon our arrival. Drinks orders were taken by the waitress and the Manager soon came- over and made us feel welcome. The atmosphere was family friendly and several young children were enjoying... More

I'm coming to The Foresters since 1980, and every time I pass by, I cannot retain entering for a nice pint of bitter.

This was a recommendation from a friend and I must say I was very satisfied with the decision to come here for a Sunday Roast. It's important to book a table as you won't get a table otherwise. Service was friendly and we soon received our meals. Both the beef and pork roasts were really great and we both polished... More

Decided to try this place (based on the recommendation of my son). Originally thought to sit outside on such a beautiful summer evening but frankly the tables are too close to the busy road so we opted to eat inside the restaurant section instead. Service was friendly and the menu choices were good I settled for Cod and my son... More

Having a been to The Foresters once already, I returned today with the in-laws, somewhat anxious that it wouldn't live up to expectations. It did. With ease! This is one of my favourite pubs(and I've been to a few!) fantastic selection of beers, local ales and a great wine list (at very reasonable prices). The Sunday roast was superb, beef... More

We visited on a Sunday for lunch for Fathers Day. We had very attentive service from Tom who made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious and came quickly. My only criticism would be that there should be some of the normal menu available on a Sunday. My 13 year old son was desperate to try the burger but... More

More expensive than the average pub or Whetherspoon meal for sure, but then the quality more than justifies this. Excellent pub and food. Thank you

We had a delicious dinner. The menu is comprehensive and the food very well cooked. Although they weren't busy, the staff were inefficient and neglectful. They need some training. The chef knows what he's doing though!

Arrived at this gastro pub for a celebratory late birthday meal after a day at Hampton Court palace... Sri we missed the ladies name but we know she is Tom's sister!!! What a refreshing welcome... She spent time describing drinks, meals and extras to us, and made us feel very welcome. We had a fab meal of pork belly and... More
