Delicious roast dinner!

Had an amazing sunday lunch here. Portions were huge and the beef was delicious. Very good value too for the quality. Staff were very helpful and i love the atmosphere in this pub. Can't get much better for a good gastropub lunch out in the area!

We had a lovely open sandwich, very filling , enjoyed a nice glass of rosé, all the staff made us feel very welcome, and it was a bonus that they are dog friendly. We will definitely make a point of visiting this pub again ...

Really impressed with this pub. My sister and I went for a Sunday lunch with the dog. Very dog-friendly pub, staff were extremely friendly and food was tasty! The lamb roast was excellent, yorkshire puddings and duck fat potatoes in particular. The baby back ribs for starters were also exceptional and the rhubarb and ginger crumble was hot and delicious.... More

Dined here last night, freezing cold outside, however we were seated in a table by the fire, so good start. Very welcoming waitress who I think was owner/manageress, good food bordering on fine dining, which meant I needed three courses! Like the water in bottle on table, so none of this 'still or sparkling madam!' Quirky decor, v. busy when... More

Many thanks for all your hard work yesterday when unfortunately we were let down at the last minute by another venue. Both the bar staff and kitchen staff did a superb job to ensure the guests at my father's wake had an enjoyable afternoon. The sandwiches were superb!

I can honestly say I had the best roast beef lunch I've ever eaten out, just perfect. Tender rare beef, huge soft Yorkshire pudding and a selection of fresh veg. I shared a panna cotta for desert which was equally as tasty! My only gripe was that there was a slight dirty mop smell. Other than that a perfect lunch... More
