Poor service

We had a delicious dinner. The menu is comprehensive and the food very well cooked. Although they weren't busy, the staff were inefficient and neglectful. They need some training. The chef knows what he's doing though!

Arrived at this gastro pub for a celebratory late birthday meal after a day at Hampton Court palace... Sri we missed the ladies name but we know she is Tom's sister!!! What a refreshing welcome... She spent time describing drinks, meals and extras to us, and made us feel very welcome. We had a fab meal of pork belly and... More

We were staying Hampton Wick and walked the mile or so to this local pub for our evening meal, it was well worth the walk. I had the Pig Cheek Pie and hubby had the Belly Pork, it was absolutely wonderful and the service very friendly. The chef even 'almost' shared his recipe for the Pig Cheek Pie with gravy... More

There is a buzz about this busy restaurant. It would appeal to pretty much everyone. Wide choice of well cooked food.

Can't understand how one can rate this lovely cosy restaurant lower than a five star. Being a Celiac, the friendly and efficient chef and staff made sure that my food was gluten free. The meals were so good, we ate there two nights in a row. Fish the first night was lovely and tasty and the belly pork on the... More

My husband and I stopped into The Foresters for a drink and ended up coming back for dinner later that evening. The atmosphere was very unique and the menu had many intriguing dishes. I ate the mussels for a starter as they came highly recommended by our server. The dish did not disappoint! For the main course, the Caledonian beef... More

I went here on a Friday lunchtime as part of my recent trip to London. It looked lovely inside and out and the majority of the reviews were positive. One thing that stood out in those reviews was the friendliness of the staff. Well, my experience matched that, lovely, friendly, genuine people. I think its clear from both the interior... More

I have no words to describe how bad the food was, but trip advisor makes me. Distinctly less than average, over seasoned and poor.

Renowned for their roasts, you will not be disappointed, very generous serves and selections are good. Friendly and hospitable staff. Prices are quite reasonable. If you are in London its worth a trip up the river by boat to soak up the atmosphere. Would definitely return.
