I really enjoyed my time at Jamie's Italian. we arrived and despite it being very busy the staff were very helpful and said they could sort us a table in 20 minutes while we had a drink at the bar. We did just that and were soon seated. Me and my boyfriend were very indecisive when choosing from the menu... More

Food above average, but by no means memorable. The quality of service however, I would definitely return for. Quite simply some of the most charming waitstaff I've ever come across in an English restaurant. Hope JO is aware of this.

We were with friends at Jamie's and enjoyed the meal and relaxed atmosphere. We had a plank with a great selection of good, tasty food. Also the mains were nice, just simple good cooked dishes with a a great taste. The very friendly staff made the evening even better. We want a Jamie in Utrecht!!!!

We were coerced into trying this place again after former disappointments. The "minute steak" which had a different fancy name went back inedible. They did not charge us for it. The squid entree was tasty enough but the other dishes were sad. Jamie needs to have a good hard look at himself to regain his former panache. There are just... More

The staff at Jamie's are always warm and friendly and in general I have enjoyed the meals I have had there. Last night I tried the chocolate/raspberry Pavlova. I counted 2very small raspberries on my plate, couldn't find any cream and the meringue was overly sweet. Not impressed. Won't be trying that dessert again!!

My third visit here and just as good as a few years ago. Excellent, well trained staff, always polite and service with a smile. My only criticism is that when you try to order from the "Specials" board the dishes have usually run out. Oh and one of our party had the rissotto which was bland and resembled a watery... More

I've eaten here several times now, and it's pretty good. Jamie Oliver's background at the River Café - a real pioneer of stripped back provincial Italian food - has produced a rather less authentic but nonetheless pleasant palette of tasty dishes which a moderately accomplished amateur cook (dear reader, it really is I) might attempt from the Oliver or Carluccio... Had a great night last night at Jamie's. I'd thought it might be too noisy in there but actually where we sat (by the entrance to main eating area) was lively but not squashed or loud. As you would expect the food, the menu the cooking the flavours were perfect.we started with cocktails, and as a starter shared the meat... More

Have visited several times around lunchtimes normally and have found the food 100% for vegetarian meals. My family love this for a super selection of meals. The setting is excellent, the staff so helpful should you have any problems with allergies, the staff have a good knowledge of what is in each meal. Will be visiting whenever in Kingston for... More

I find Jamie's in Kingston a little 'hit and miss' .... the concept is good, although it's a little dated. The inevitable comparisons with Carluccios are apparent, but Jamie's wins by a nose. Staff are generally helpful, accommodating and go a long way to make you feel comfortable, including our 3 young girls ... the food ranges from 'good' to... More
