JAMIE’S ITALIAN

Jamie’s Italian is a contemporary and informal restaurant with a menu that reflects Jamie Oliver’s passion for authentic Italian cooking, delivered with his own unique twist on classic recipes. Beautiful rustic dishes are created using carefully sourced, higher-welfare ingredients for the best flavour, but still at great value. This is a relaxed, affordable and accessible environment where the style, atmosphere and menu can be easily adapted to suit any occasion.

KNOWN FOR

Child friendly; great value, quick lunch; special occasions; group bookings, party planning.

Packed restaurant with lots of hustle and bustle, food ok and cocktail yummy

We were lucky to get a table on this Sunday afternoon as up the restaurant was packed. We waited ten minutes at the bar for a table (pre-warned, so fine with this) and treated ourselves with a yummy cocktail each as a pre-starter starter :-) Once moved to our table, I was amused to be given our... read more

I went to this restaurant last Sunday with wife, son, daughter in law and our 1 year old granddaughter for lunch. We had booked table and from the minute we walked through the door it was a truly wonderful experience. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and we were taken straight to our table which had a high... More

I have eaten here several times. I think the starters are always good - however sometimes the main's are a bit neither here nor there. It is quite expensive for that kind of performance - however it has a good atmosphere, lovely staff - and I like the toilets! We have had an undercooked chicken here once and had to... More

I ordered the special of the day :risotto with langoustine which was nice but I expected much more and a larger portion. I also had the vegetable plank as starter/side. this was the most disappointing for £6.95 I expected much more..

The grub was good, the company fantastic! Nothing we couldn't have made at home, to be honest...actually, my wife's cooking is much, much better!

I had higher expectations for this place. Food quality was average and bill quite expensive. A rude waiter told us to go away because they were full for the following 30 mins! Maybe take in consideration Undercover Boss Jamie!!

I went here for lunch with family . The service was very good and swift. We were eligible for a free starter which was refreshing and tasty. I ordered Linguine pasta as the blurb on the menu said it was 'their famous dish'. The portion was adequate for lunch and I could have ordered a bigger portion. It tasted nice... More

For a dinner on 15th Jan for four of us when we only had one beer Moretti and no other drinks they have charged us 2 additional beers for Messina and Liberta' and another non alcoholic drink Berry Blush which we did not even consume. Extremely Ridiculous !! Just because the restaurant is busy and we refused to pay the... More

Is the ambience in a restaurant important? Apparently not in Jamie's, as being 'family friendly' takes precedence over other customers enjoyment of a meal. Our experience was wrecked by an inconsiderate family who showed a disregard for other diners. When I complained to the staff, I was given the predictable line 'we are family friendly', which is fine during the... More
