We arrived with dusty boots and two wet dogs, we expected a very cold welcome. How wrong we were, this place is a gem, the staff could not have been more welcoming, the burgers were to die for and the beer was perfect. You must try this place as it just has to be tried to be believed. By the... More

A very good pub/restaurant. We went as a family for Sunday lunch and found the food good, however we had the steak and kidney pie but felt it was frozen and not fresh, however I am sure the specials board was fresh !, we had sticky toffee pudding for desert which was very dry and not great. Overall a good... More

I had Sunday lunch here and the roast beef I have had in years, Just one warning it is very busy so book ahead if you can, the staff have amazing customer service and very friendly. Just one down side when it is busy the car park fills up and there is not much choice for alternative parking nearby

Clean and welcoming pub, but a bit cold in the restaurant. Food timely and mostly good. The vegetable's were very al a dente.( broccoli only shown the water)..........told the waitress who said 'oh dear'. The starters were expensive, when compared to a meal we had in London the whole meal cost a lot more and the London restaurant offered 1/2... More

Four of us visited this lovely pub for lunch recently and as it was a Friday we were all decidedly unadventurous with our food and opted for the haddock and chips. It was an excellent choice. The fish was beautifully moist, the batter light and crispy and the chips absolutely delicious. Add in the homemade tartare sauce and buttered peas... More

The staff are very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food and drink are top class. A cosy and comfy setting inside with an extension bit for when they get busy. A big garden with play equipment for kids. Lovely place and you won't be disappointed.

Went for Sunday lunch based on a friend's recommendation. Staff were extremely hospitable, smiles and warm welcomes everywhere. Service was very prompt and the food was very good indeed. Part of our party opted for the Sunday roasts whilst I ordered from the standard menu. The specials were a good option too with a wide selections. We were slightly unfortunate... More

The setting is lovely as is the food - just found it rather noisy when busy. Food was fresh and service was excellent.
