Starter read well on the menu but didn't quite make it - king-prawns - there were five of them - looked lonely in the dish they were presented in. I went slightly 'off piste' asking for Lobster Spaghetti with a slightly 'chilied' sauce and it was great. Reasonably priced Sauvignon Blanc was good too !!

I ate her with two friends; two had the set menu and one had the a la carte. The service staff are personable and quite switched on. The food is good. The specials of the day, drinks and wine are not cheap, and there are snags with pricing - with quite steep "additions" being made for bits and bobs. We... More

I'm not typically a fish eater so was rather dubious about eating here. But I have to say the meal I chose was lovely. I had haddock, mash and poached egg and it was absolutely to die for. The only down side to our evening was that there was a large group in celebrating; we had finished eating about 10.30pm... More

Not a bad experience at all but have a few gripes about our visit. - Front desk could be more forthcoming and enthusiastic - Serving closed up mussels is a big NO in my opinion. They should have been removed and replaced On a positive... Our waiter TRISTAN was incredibly professional and did his job to perfection! Well done Tristan.... More

I visited this restaurant the day before yesterday (Saturday 20th September 2014) for out 1st wedding anniversary. I have always wanted to try this restaurant being a fish fan, but had to wait for a special occasion as my husband loathes fish and wiggles out of every opportunity to come and visit! He loved it! We both tried oysters for... More

Having had a good food experience at the Loch Fyne in Nottingham the previous week, decided to give this restaurant a try. The restaurant itself was spacious and well set out. The waitress gave me an option of seating and I opted for a seat in the conservatory. Rather disappointingly I had to ask for the 'set menu' as this... More

We last visited here in May 2014. We booked a table and arrived early. When we arrived, we were warned that they were very busy, but we didn't notice any deterioration in service. As we said in our last review, the service was excellent. The food was amazing. Very tasty and plentiful. Another lovely meal.

Ate here with my wife. Great atmosphere and very polite, welcoming staff, especially Amy and Tash! (all of them really but Amy's my daughter!). Food was really nice, including steaks.
