Our restuarant is beautifully renovated with oak floors and character features. We have a conservatory on the side as well as al fresco patio seating. We also have a private dining room, a separate bar area and a fishmonger counter. We are delighted to offer an excellent a la carte menu at our Loch Fyne Farnham restuarant and you will find nothing but the freshest and most seasonal dishes to choose from.

2nd visit after bad experience

We went to Loch Fyne in Farnham in January for my husband birthday - sunday lunch. Was very disappointed, they had sold out of a number of dishes and even having ordered three fish & chips (cod), 5 minutes before they came to serve the mains - they announced that they had run out and one person had... read more

Very limited choice. Food vastly overpriced (£10 for a fish cake! with vegetables. What vegetables? When my granddaughter asked for a steak to be 'well done' the waitress said that if it were 'well done ' it would be hard! and suggested medium. Staggering.

Have been here before and had superb food but tonight hardly anybody here and deserts were a disgrace. Partners cheese cake was mouldy, her daughters rice pudding still frozen and see photo for three minuscule pieces of cheese for 7.95. All resolved after complaints but you don't go out in the evening to complain. Has something happened to this chain.... More

Came on a whim after seeing you could use a Gormet card for discount. I am definitely coming back, discount or no discount! The food was beautifully cooked and the portions very generous! I had the special which was sea bream and scallops and I had a good 6/7 scallops when usually you would only probably get 3. Couldn't get... More

Okay. Loch Fyne is a chain. Get over it. As much as most Surrey-ites want to discover a rare, authentic, organic, homemade, locally sourced, blah blah eatery, owned by Polly Poppins and her pet goat, Loch Fyne does a great job of feeling local while being a concept you'll find from Farnham to Fife. Did you know? Loch Fyne Oysters... More

Visited recently for a birthday celebration, and were not disappointed. The new menu offered plenty of choice and, as to be expected, the fish options were varied and cooked very well. Starters were prawn in chilli & garlic and the haggis & scallops (both very good). Mains were fish options cooked to whatever style (we chose pan fried) with a... More

We went there yesterday to celebrate my girlfriends birthday, the staff spoke very little English, we ordered some Olives as an apperitiff , but our starters came before the Olives , so we cancelled the Olives. We felt as if we were on a conveyer belt, being rushed. The Salmon fish cake was 90% potato, 30% of my Mussels were... More

Visited in April. Have been half a dozen time in past couple of years and doesn't disappoint. good and friendly efficient service. Food for a "chain" establishment is consistently well prepared and presented. This is probably our favourite Loch Fyne from the 5 or six others we have also been to.

An excellent lunch good champagne, excellent Beaujolais, excellent surf and turf. The hospitality was excellent. For me Loch Fyne has the skill to choose the wines I like for its wine list. Sometimes you get lucky in a restaurant and this time we got lucky. If I could receive this service consistently I would dine out far more often

We visited Loch Fyne for the first time last weekend for lunch. It was an early booking so the restaurant wasn't at all busy. The decor is nice and the service was good. Most of us ordered the fish and twice cooked chips. I enjoyed my meal and had plenty of fish. My husband on the other hand felt that... More
