Having had a good food experience at the Loch Fyne in Nottingham the previous week, decided to give this restaurant a try. The restaurant itself was spacious and well set out. The waitress gave me an option of seating and I opted for a seat in the conservatory. Rather disappointingly I had to ask for the 'set menu' as this... More

We last visited here in May 2014. We booked a table and arrived early. When we arrived, we were warned that they were very busy, but we didn't notice any deterioration in service. As we said in our last review, the service was excellent. The food was amazing. Very tasty and plentiful. Another lovely meal.

Ate here with my wife. Great atmosphere and very polite, welcoming staff, especially Amy and Tash! (all of them really but Amy's my daughter!). Food was really nice, including steaks.

Four of us visited here for lunch on Sunday. Despite the fact that there weren’t many customers, the service was somewhat slow.this was not a problem to us at all. We were sitting outside on the patio relaxing and enjoying the wonderful sunshine with a few drinks, so we were in no hurry anyway! The table service was excellent, the... More

Visited Loch Fyne with friends for a birthday celebration. We had a good table by the window so it was nice and cool on a very hot evening. Our waiter was Frasier who was polite and attentive. All courses were delicious consisting of muscles, baby octopus and scallops with haggis. The mains were lobster, gilt head seam bream and cod... More

Although this is part of a chain (and I object to chains on principle) the food is very good indeed. The restaurant does not have that 'chain restaurant' feel about it. My only complaint would be that the portions a trifle skimpy - especially the potted crab. Having said that, the moules were marvellous: tender and tasty. I would always... More

We popped in one Friday evening with a big group to celebrate a birthday of a friend. The waiter was charming and wine arrived quickly, we'd been popped in a room of our own (probably to help other diners have a nice meal without hearing us being rowdy) but the food was a bit so so..... I had the mackerel... More

We had a lovely lunch here recently. When we walked into the restaurant our two little grandsons were immediately presented with a bag containing their own menu with pages for colouring, crayons, and a lovely balloon attached to it. The staff were very attentive towards the children, and we enjoyed the food. A good menu with plenty of choice, and... More
