Welcome to the Toby Carvery Ewell. When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Epsom’s favourite carvery restaurant. Drop by and you'll find lots more on offer, including cooked breakfasts and tasty specials.

Good food at a bargain price

This is an extremely popular restaurant which serves good food at a bargain price, therefore expect to wait a while before being seated. We had an hour wait but having been here before knew how to pass the time at the bar. I must mention a barmaid called Porsche who knew who to serve when, was... read more

A 'standard format' Toby Carvery, you get (as the saying goes) "What it says on the tin". Because it's a popular and busy place, the vegetables on offer are replenished regularly and can be enjoyed while still hot. With a choice of at least three meat joints available, there's something to suit everybody -- and with the variety of vegetables,... More

I travelled to the carvery with my good friend Roger after a pretty messy night.. We hoped for a nice classic English breakfast but instead I experienced one of the worst meals of my life. The service was appalling as we waited 15 minutes to be seated. Everything I tried was either terribly dry or carried a sort of soapy... More

I live down in reigate. And I was meeting my Cypriot friend. He lives up in Epsom about 1 minutes from the carvery. We got very excited for our breakfast. But the moment I walked in the doors I knew something was wrong. The food tasted like soap and the texture was moist. I think it is fair to say... More

I have given some good reviews of this place . Today was awful. The veg was not as good and the selection was poor. The gammon was so fatty I could not eat it . Maybe just bad timing today

If you like food that is cooked en masse and left to dry out then you will probably like this ! The roast potatoes taste like shoe leather and the green veg are so overcooked it's not funny However the plus points I suppose are that you can eat as much as you want (and believe me people do!) and... Good place. They work the old system of making you wait at 1/2hr for a table even though there are loads of spare tables. As we know this is done to make us. It more drinks. So..... If you do not mind the wait and only want a light drink, go for a soda water and lime for 30pence each!... More

My family and I had your much anticipated Sunday carvery and we have never tasted such bland food. It was so bland that unfortunately we left most of it - we were surprised that the waitress didn't ask if there was anything wrong with it as we hardly ate any of the food. It was a waste of £39.05 and... More
