Most times I'm in Croydon I visit Cockneys. Double pie, mash and liquor does it for me. Less than £6, and fills you for hours. This pie shop does one of the best pie and mash in London. Their pastry is the best in my view and the people who run it are nice folk.

The liquor can be hit and miss but more hit than miss. No complaint... More

Traditional pie & mash with liquor or stewed/jellied eels. Great people, good atmosphere and excellent value for money. If you have never tried pie & mash you really should do so.

Good pie's, good mash, great prices. As traditional as 'knees up mother brown' sung by a troupe of pearly Kings and Queens.
