Came here for a friend's birthday recently. Beautiful surroundings and a great atmosphere. Food is of the highest quality, portions are of a decent size, staff are friendly and very efficient. Food is served very quickly and the pricing is fair. I have nothing negative to say about this place and I will certainly return sooner rather than later.

This is the third time I've been and would recommend it. The food is really good value and the menu has something for everyone. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The service is quick. It was really busy but the waiting staff are very quick and always around if you need them.

Our visit to a Beefeater, after several years, was rewarded by a lovely meal, excellent ambience and good service. We had booked our table on a Tuesday evening at 7:15pm and arrived promptly to a what looked like a period house on a cold and drizzly evening in November to be greeted by our waiter to a large table for... I chose this place as I'd been before, food has always been good and the setting is lovely. We had pre-booked as it is very popular and usually busy. We were seated immediately on arrival even though we were a bit early. Our drinks order was taken straight away and we were left to ponder the menu. There were 3... More

Had a very nice meal here with the family while staying at the Premier Inn, good value and good service. Everyone was happy with their food. Would use again and also recommend it if you are in the area.

this Beefeater is a cut above the rest, set in an Edwardian lodge it oozes elegance of the past, There is a Hugh garden with tables for outside dinning, and an Orangery for dinning inside in the winter months. Also in the main building there is a restaurant, this venue has all the Beefeater facilities, but with style.

Coombe Lodge offers an extremely luxurious setting for an economy meal out with friends. The setting is in the Shirley hills amongst woodland but close to suburbia. The food is amongst the best from the Whitbread stable of venues. The interior offers a cluster of rooms with differing aspect and character to suit couples, family parties and more formal dining....
