Description: Welcome to the Toby Carvery South Croydon. When it comes to roast dinners...
Welcome to the Toby Carvery South Croydon. When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're South Croydon’s favourite carvery restaurant. Drop by and you'll find lots more on offer, including cooked breakfasts and tasty specials.

Always a safe option!

This carvary is consistently good, and with fast service and friendly staff, you can't really go wrong. If I had anything to gripe about, it would be the lack of parsnips at times!

A busy traditional Carvery. Meat and vegetables a plenty. Staff attentive. Can cater or small or large groups.

Great place to go for a cheeky cheap midweek roast dinner. Staff are brilliant! Very friendly and quick service! I had a pork and gammon roast and it was super yummy, the portion of meat I was given was extremely generous! Roast potatoes were crisp and tasty! My partner somehow had enough room to squeeze in a treacle pudding with... More

Not many places these days where two of you can eat 2 courses and have a drink for under £20.The carvery here is always good with choice of meats and vegetables which I have always found to be cooked just right. Service is quick and friendly, the decor is OK but nothing special. Better for a nice lunch than a... More

At a TC you can expect the same every time and it's good that way..... You drive there, park up, go inside, expect it to be busy, have a drink, buzzer goes off, you grab a table, get straight in line, be served with cuts off turkey, gammon, pork and beef (they don't know whether it's Irish or British) by... At least you know what you are likely to get at a carvery , and the attraction here is the discount vouchers sent on emails . This is our second visit in about 6 weeks and is borne about because my wife loves the vegetables ( no parsnips again ) even though they are almost cooked past their lives they... More

I know that a carvery might not be the natural place for a vegetarian to visit, but that is not why I will not be returning. To be fair the menu did offer several vegetarian options, I chose the nut roast which had flavour. However, the vegetables were a disgrace all indistinguishable from each other. Generally the texture was poor... More

This is a place I go to quite often, but I was knocked out by the excellent value of the festive menu which my family enjoyed last night. £13.45 for three courses (all excellent) including coffee was brilliant. Especially as we booked early enough to qualify for the free bottle of wine for a table of six. Other restaurants pile... More
