This pub isn't the best in the area by far. Very small inside, staff are ok, think some are family members. This pub can attract the odd misfit, so beware. Pub is warm, quite dark, yet fairly welcoming. Worrying thing is it's always fairly empty, think locals (like us) prefer the welly or rose and crown.

I used to eat and drink at the welly, however since frequenting the village inn, it almost feels like a home away from home. it is the only dog friendly pub within walking distance of where I live, Laura and her team absolutely adore dogs and they are always very welcoming. There is a fully enclosed garden with a cocktail... More

We like the food here, but you can never rely on food being served. Often have gone here wanting to eat but the kitchen is closed. When we have eaten the food is always excellent and i would recommend.

We were looking for a quick pub to go into as there was a storm outside (this was last December) and found this place. We then read a sign on the door saying the kitchen was shut until January, so we went to the fish and chips next door and went back with it, expecting to buy a couple of... More

The Village Inn Sandhurst seemed like as good a place as any to enjoy a quiet drink with my friend James before he continued his drive back to London, he was an usher at my wedding and I'd not seen him for a few months so a good chin-wag was in order. First impressions were very pleasant indeed, I only... More

Lively and stays open late - music some nights. We live locally but our overseas visitors loved it. Doombar on tap a nice pint too!

Wondered why we managed to get a table on Mothers Day at such short notice. I am not now suprised, Thought the Sunday lunch was very dissappointing. Meat was fine, never seen Yorkshire puddings filled with gravy with a small tomatoe floating in it! The roast potatoes were obviously of short supply. My dinner came with two small potatoes on... Friends held a 40th birthday party at the village in. Really enjoyable night - good food, and friendly staff. Friendly pub which is definately worth dropping in on.

Wouldn't go here for a very special event but more than happy to go for a casual meal with hubby or friends. Always very friendly and helpful, meals have been good. Only problem is the parking, at certain times it is very difficult to find a space.
