You will pay a lot of money for average fish & chips, especially if you eat in. Better in the village.

Quick service, hot food, great fish, perfect chips. Called in for an emergency supper - hit the nail on the head.

Popped in here for a quick breakfast over the weekend. Nothing complicated, a full English and a sausage and bacon sandwich. The lady at the till was polite and efficient and happily swapped mushrooms for bacon on the full English, and served the coffee. Then we waited for the food, and waited, and waited. I don't mind waiting for good... More

The fish and the chips have really improved since our last visit. They are delicious and incongruous for Surrey, comparable to the quality found usually at the seaside; reminiscent of an outstanding meal I once had in Llandudno!

I stumbled upon this cafe/restaurant whilst searching for a petrol station early one day in March 2014. In the mornings it is open as cafe, in the afternoon and evening it is open as a fish & chip restaurant. There is a very good car park and it is easy to get a table by the window so you can... More

For a fish and chip shop it is very good. Situated brilliantly off a main road providing quick service, food really nice and also at a competitive price.

Heavily-used chippie. They always overcooked the fish in my opinion in the past - but this, along with badly-cooked chips is a facet of British fish and chips these days unfortunately.

this fish and chip bar used to be very good but went downhill the food was sometimes too greasy and the staff were extremely unpleasant so much so that I stopped going there until recently since then it has changed hands so its a lot better now not that I go there often anyway but its a very average fish... Called in to jacks for the first time in fifteen years. Still got great fish &chips. Just as good as I remember. Good service done with a smile. Just nip off the M3 and try it.

The chips were good as always. It is what it is, a fish and chip diner but it is a good one. Fish and chips can be of variable taste and quality but Jack's is very dependable and a good place to go back to.
