Good for drinks

Only ever been for drinks in the evening but its a great atmosphere nice and relaxed and has the feeling of a proper traditional pub.

On a freezing night we were welcomed to the roaring log fire and it was toasty warm inside. We didn't eat but if its anything like the other titanic pubs we have visited the food will be excellent. Serving a good selection of real ales alongside some more familiar names the prices are good value. Staff were friendly and welcoming,... More

In my eyes The Excange ( I am Swedish) is a proper English pub. Friendly atmosphere with welcoming staff and regulars. Good selection of Titanic and guest beers. I had Iceberg and Capt. Smiths and enjoyed both.

Tried this pub several times and can't get to grips with it. Any drink other than the obviously tied real ale seems expensive to me. The beer garden is tiny, which doesn't bode well when you get stares from who seem to be the cliquey regulars. Most of the bar staff friendly and polite enough, others not so much. I... More

A nice, light pub with good window seating areas and more at the back. Fab small brewery beers, Titanic ales with interesting names like Steerage & Iceberg!! Some lovely wines too & a fair selection available.

Always busy, the sign of a good pub. Food available at lunchtime. George's pies go well with a pint.

Easily the best pub in stone, great atmosphere and fantastic staff. Walking through the door your are greeted with a roaring fire, what could be more welcoming?! There is a fantastic range of real ales lined up along the bar, as well as ciders and lagers for those not partial to an ale or two. Pork pies and scotch eggs... More

Located this wonderful pub whilst travelling the Four Counties Ring, we would recommend the little walk from the canal because the service and friendly atmosphere of this pub is second to none.
