Just got back from the colliers after deciding to pop out for Sunday tea. The experience was just so poor. Firstly we waited at the podium which is situated just through the front door and we waited and waited. Finally a waitress came over and asked if we would like a table for two ( no mention of the long... More

We stayed at the neighbouring Premier Inn and took advantage of the overnight meal deal for £23 each (actually £22.99- but they don't think we're bright enough to realise it's really £23)!. This includes a 2-course meal with quite a selection of food, a drink and a full breakfast. Great value. The atmosphere in the evening was a little noisy... More

We visited here on a Friday night when we were staying at the Premier Inn. We had the Premier Inn Meal deal which included two courses and a drink. The food was very good. We had Prawn cocktail and Chicken Goujons to start. We both had a mixed grill for main course which was very large and tasty but the... More

Wasn't keen to go here but was the choice of the relatives we were visiting. Sunday lunch for 4 - 2 had carvery and two normal menu. Found portion sizes very small and all in all overpriced - especially the desserts.

Need more choice for vegetarians. Food arrived quickly. Staff friendly. Food a bit overpriced and portions a bit small. Breakfast amazing!

Had a lovely meal with family on first Bank Holiday Monday in a May. Charlotte our waitress was lovely, honest and knowledgeable. The food was good quality and the facilities were good. Ideal family eatery.

We called enroute with friends and recieved very good service and the food was hot and freshly cooked you could help yourself to anything else you wanted such as toast, fruit juice crossiants and as much tea and coffee as you wanted. The waitress was very plesant and helpful so would recommend this place for Breakfast.

My brother and sister-in-law visiting, decided to treat them to a meal at the Colliers. We ordered steak - first mistake! Upon arriving customers are given the choice of dining in the bar or in the restaurant... what difference this made was beyond us all, as there was no difference to price at all. We opted for the cosy bar.... More
