Ordinary pub food, service was good but a little slow. The prices were average but the portions could have been a bit bigger.

The Badger is now closed and is up fo sale ( maybe not as a pub). However the other pubs in Eccleshall are well worth a visit.

Do not be put off by the For Let sign outside. We went in for Sunday lunch. The staff were lovely and very attentive. The roast beef and yorkshire were tasty and hot. The vegetables were served in separate dishes with a separate gravy boat. The desserts were also good. We will come again when we are near this area.... More

We haven’t eaten here since the previous landlord left last year, although we have popped in for a drink a few times. The times we have been in, we have sat in the lounge where there’s always been a lovely real fire! Recently when we called in late one afternoon we had the opportunity to look through the menu’s including... More

We visited the Badger for lunch this week and were not disappointed. We ordered from the "2 for £10" menu and had lovely meals. The portion sizes were generous, the food was of very good quality and the service was great. We took our little girl (18 months old) along and although they didn't have a highchair, she wasn't really... More

we went toThe Badger purely by chance 2 weeks ago for lunch. We were on our way to another pub in the village but because of roadworks in the village ,we decided to cut down Green Lane and went to The Badger. We were warmly greeted and seated at a table in the conservatory. My husband and I chose from... More

Went in on a weekday afternoon for lunch, nice building but found interior quite cold looking. No atmosphere bu hat could just be lack of people I suppose. Service ok but found the food greasy and the curry sauce tasted like it was from a packet. Reading the good reviews I expected a lot better.
