A rare occasion for this mother and daughter, to enjoy some time together. Langans was recommended, and we certainly really enjoyed the experience. Delicious sandwich selection, scones & jam with clotted cream, with largest cakes ever! And a very good pot of tea to boot!! Lovely surroundings and attentive service. Modestly priced. We may return to try the lunch menu... More

Called in for a sandwich lunch and a cup of tea. The room is beautiful with high ceiling and gorgeous windows and ornate decor. The tea comes with mismatch china cups, teapot and plates which seems to be the fashion and is attractive. The sandwiches had a generous filling and soft thick cut fresh crusty bread. They were very busy... More

Popped in late afternoon on a Thursday. Very comfortable seating so we enjoyed a leisurely cup of tea and coffee (their own blend and very good) whilst reading magazines provided. Service was prompt and friendly and the cakes looked delicious. Worth a visit as they offer a good food menu as well.

We eat here regularly and have had everything from breakfast to afternoon tea. The food is always good with generous portions. The afternoon tea is great value, other places could learn from the generous portions you get here.

Went for afternoon tea with the long haired General & received a nice cuppa in china cups with sandwiches and cake...I love cake, yum, yum, yum. Good service, nice scoff, and reasonable price.

Called for afternoon tea, it was so big we had to take our cake home in a doggy bag! Though we called at a very busy time we were well looked after.

We went here for afternoon tea for my mums birthday. Service was very friendly and staff helpful. Sandwiches were fresh with plenty of filling. Scone served warm with jam and clotted cream!! Big pot of tea, enough for three cups each ( there were 3 of us ). We were to full to eat our cake so brought it home.... More
