Excellent for Coeliacs

Found it via Google and certainly exceeded expectations. Cosy atmosphere and your very own gluten free menu sheet. Starter, main and dessert all available for us Coeliacs. Well worth a visit if in the area.

My boyfriend and I love The Burnt Gate as the service is always excellent, such lovely staff and the owner is very friendly. I love the choice on the vegan menu and it is one of the only places in Burton (that we know of) that offers a full vegan menu. We have been for brunch, lunch, evening meals and... More

Visited here for my 40th birthday. We used to come here for special occasions when I lived in Stretton but have since moved out of the area. I've not long been diagnosed with coeliac disease and eating out can be a bit tricky, but not here. They have an extensive gluten free menu and I was spoilt for choice, no... More

Had previously visited here for just a drink one evening. Because it's such a lovely looking pub in a great location, decided to book a meal for a little celebration with my better half. Absolutely faultless for us, given a very warm welcome and settled in with some drinks. I had the cask ale which was kept perfectly, I believe... More

We visited The Burnt Gate in Anslow, as it was one of the few local venues to offer a vegan menu. We were meeting up with friends from Liverpool, who are vegan and we wanted to find somewhere (anywhere) that would accommodate this. There is a varied menu, with good choice in all sections. As soon as we went through... More

As a finale to my daughters 30th birthday we booked here as we had been in the past and had good meals with a decent choice of gluten free food for both my daughter and wife. We ordered our Sunday dinner and had drinks. After 40minutes we decided that maybe there was something wrong and asked where the food was.... More

Thank you for taking the time to post your review, which we have found disappointing to read. To state the facts from our side, your table was booked for 12.30 and it is my understanding that members of your party of 8 people arrived at different times. We have a system that tracks your visit from the beginning. Your order... More

Looking for somewhere to take my friend for lunch when I visited her, I checked Tripadvisor and found a review for The Burnt Gate which looked very promising. I booked for Sunday lunch and was really pleased I had. The staff were lovely and very attentive from our arrival to our departure. The food was absolutely delicious. I had monkfish... More
