Booked on line for 3.15 on a Sunday lunch . The menu was two courses £12.50 or 3 for £14.95 . There was a choice of about 5 starters , main and pud . All we choose and ate was delicious . I ate the most amazing sticky toffee pudding, all washed down with a nice bottle of wine .... More

Went for lunch as I haven't been for a while, noticed straight away that the menu hasn't changed for some time. Ordered the steak as it was spectacular last time, however when it arrived the steak was indeed fantastic but let down by underdone chips, raw tomatoes on the vine. Service wasn't the best either, had to ask for initial... More

The Winery is set in lovely grounds in an old Abbey which gives it great atmosphere. We rang for a table and were told that we could only be fitted in at 5.15pm and needed to be finished by 7pm. We agreed and arrived at 5.05pm. The waiters were friendly, but the service was slow. The food, when it arrived... More

Very accommodating- excellent menu and value. Great for kids to play outside with a generous menu for them - great portions, choice and price. Visit v regularly and enjoy every time. Highly recommend - best place in burton

This place is so lovely. The grounds are amazing, the wine list is great but the food is so disappointing. Had terrine and then ribeye steak. The terrine was ok but the bread was oven baked standard baguette. A little more rustic would have been nice. The steak was not great. Chewy and not very flavoursome. Colleagues had risotto which... We held a party for 27 people at the winery on Sunday 29 June. The food was superb, the service was fabulous and every one of our guests was very impressed with the evening. Cannot recommend the winery highly enough.
