We stopped off here on the second evening of our canal boat holiday and all had a good tasty meal we had pizza, pasta and gnocchi between us and none were diappionted, the portion sizes were good too. The loos were a little dated and in need of attention but it was conveniently located for us and... read more

We've moored outside The Bridge on too many occasions to count. This evening we drove there because it was a wet Friday night and we were due a meal out. I'm so glad we went. It was just terrific!! The Gnocchi was sublime, my other half's scallops superb. Then the icecream floating in our espresso coffees. All just perfect. And... More

We have visited The Bridge a number of times and the food has always been good. However on Saturday the Lasagna was well below par, layers of pasta with filling swimming around the side of the dish and nothing between the layers. When we pointed this out to the waitress she just shrugged. The attitude of the manager was no... More

We have eaten at The Bridge plenty of times since we moved into the area and liked our 'Italian pub' down the road. The pizza and pasta on offer is fine but the team need be much more welcoming and friendlier if they want to retain our custom.

I can't fault this pub.....well... one small thing...we visit the canals on our narrow boat within our family. The food is great but we don't want to spend £8.95 on a meal for our 4 kids under 11. A portion of chips would be perfect, not bread and balsamic. No offence to bread and balsamic, I love it!!!! A portion... More

Decided last minute to book a table. Had to wait a while to be seated as dining space limited but we were looked after by the owner and enjoyed a few drinks and conversation while we waited. The food was of a very high standard and the service very professional. I had the mixed mushroom risotto and it was superb... More
