Great place to eat

Friendly staff, great food, the cooking demonstrations are great fun. Thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas lunch, very relaxed.

Always promised a meal here, finally made it. The only regret was we left it so long. Pascal's is not your average 'pop out for something to eat': Pascal's is worth a bit of preparation and it looked that the rest of the diners agreed, no ripped jeans here. So what about the food? The menu is quite short but... More

Hadn't been to Old Vicarage before everything was great, excellent food and staff were very friendly. Had a drink in the bar and choose our meals, by the time we went through to restaurant our starters were ready. If we didn't leave so far away it would be a regular place to visit. Visited February 2016.

Arrived by taxi for evening dinner at 6.45pm Wed 27th for a birthday treat. The Old Vicarage a lovely building kept immaculately. I have been here a few times before although, not for sometime but remembered how good it was then. It was no surprise that we were welcomed at the door by Pascal, the owner, who took our coats... Wanted to go somewhere special for my husbands birthday, we were greeted warmly by the staff on arrival and enjoyed a drink in the bar whilst choosing what to eat. Such a lovely relaxed atmosphere, we were called to the table when the food was served. Great service very attentive staff, fantastic food clear plates all round. Would definitely recommend,... We had booked for lunch after a night out in Derby. A very warm welcome, excellent service and very tasty and well-prepared food at a reasonable price. Had a nice chat with the owner, Pascal, about cycling and will definitely return and take friends next time.

Visited for a meal to celebrate a family birthday, whilst the welcome was ok, we were kept waiting for quite a while and then when the order was taken it was very rushed. My wife is a vegetarian and did not like any of the main courses when asked if there were any other options was told no, and there... More

Excellent welcome. We came with a vegetarian friend and the standard menu didn't suite her palate. No problem, Pascale asked what she liked and came up with a personal dish for her. The food and service was exceptional. Would like to eat here regularly!
