Starter's fab. Main courses all ok........lamb over done making it a bit chewy steak looked over done but tasted great size however was very small,... More

This superb restaurant is hidden away out of the main town but is definitely with seeking out. The meat is locally sourced, the menu is modern without being wacky, the food is excellent quality and perfectly cooked. The restaurant has a laid back informal ambience but still feels special. Equally good for a meal out with friends or an intimate... More

Found 99 Station Street while looking for somewhere local that offered t-bone steak. Despite the wonderful reviews on here, the restaurant and evening still exceeded my expectations! The owners were absolutely lovely and we were lucky enough to have them to ourselves to run through the menu and find out all about where the food came from, what the best... More

We visit here regularly and can honestly say we have never been disappointed. Food doesn't arrive quickly, but as everything is cooked freshly that's to be expected. It's well worth the wait though. Make sure you save space for dessert! Will definitely be booking again.

There are a lot of good things said about this restaurant and I had a laugh reading the responses from the owner/chef to some of the negative reviews. The food is OK to good which would have been fine for us if it hadn't been for the service. This was really haphazard despite the fact there were only 2 other... More

It was our second visit to this small and perfectly formed restaurant, the food is fantatstic the service really good and it thoroughly deserves it's place in the good food guide. We were welcomed with a winter cider hot toddy, I had a goats cheese starter which had a lovely flavour, followed by the plaice which was perfectly moist and... More

We went to this restaurant for fathers day and from the road it doesn't look much at all but it was brilliant. The food was amazing and the staff were so helpful with my 14 month old daughter. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
