Nice meal....good find

Came here on the way back from the Alton Towers water park. Ten of us went here for food. Was surprised that there were not many tables occupied as this is a nice place. For starter I had prawns and chorizo. This was served with fresh bread. For main I had the lamb and mint burger. Food was very... read more

Really lovely staff and warm welcome and excellent service. The food was fab, the children loved making their own pizzas.

We were a party of 10 for a hen party. We were served promptly, food was delicious & we were made some fantastic cocktails off menu. We were all chuffed to bits that we came here! Was a nightmare to get to if you aren't driving as taxis are few and far between from where we were staying (Farley) so... More

Don't visit here if you have young children or if you have been to Alton Towers and have a long journey home afterwards. We had been to Alton Towers with our grandchildren and wanted a nice meal before our 3 hour journey home. We arrived just before 6 and the pub was not busy, so we were pleased they were... More

Are here twice in December and had fab meals. So was really looking forward to coming back. ( we live 50 miles away) Really friendly welcome we were seated immediately at 5.30pm. Downhill from then... Slow service- over an hour before our meals arrived - and about 10 mins from first to last meal was served! As there was only... More

Thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback. We apologise for the unacceptable long wait and slow service on Saturday 14th March, due to the unexpected huge influx of people following three mayor events in the surrounding area, filling our bar, lounge and restaurant in a very short space of time. As a small family run business... More

We are staying at the Alton Towers hotel but decided to go out for a meaL rather than eating in. I am so glad we did as the restaurant we found in Alton is brilliant. The warm friendly welcome the excellent service and the incredibly delicious food do not do justice to the pleasure I have had eating in this... More

So glad we found this fab little place, every part of our meal & drinks was superb! Starters were prawns and chorizo and mussels in cider - wow the prawns were as good as any tapas ive eaten in spain, perfectly cooked, brilliantly seasoned and the home made bread was woolfed down! Mains were just as good, all home cooked... More

Stopped at a campsite a mile away, went for a meal our 1st night there and the car broke down. The owners were quick on the ball to help to no avail! We needed a new starter motor, they was more than happy to let us leave the car there for our stay and also offered to drop us off... More
