The Ramblers Retreat is an award winning country tearoom nestled in the Dimmingsdale, part of the beautiful Churnet Valley in Staffordshire. Our menu is homemade using only the best ingredients, many of which are sourced from local suppliers in the Staffordshire Moorlands. And as well as a delicious meal you can also enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of Dimmingsdale, this spectacular valley by following one of the established woodland walks. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Lovely place

We called in for a coffee and sat out in the garden the ambience is lovely and the staff are lovely. The price for the coffees was reasonable too. Would have loved to have eaten here as the food we saw looked very nice.

After a long walk from denstone this was perfect. The summer houses outside are perfect for keeping out of the cold with the dog. Reasonable prices. Good portion size. Fantastic chocolate fudge cake!! Big car park and good walking trails around.

Ramblers retreat isn't posh ..but it is a beautiful down to earth place to settle your bum after a walk in the country .. The food is homemade food and the puddings are gorgeous... We have now been to the Ramblers Retreat twice and both times were good. It is a great little stop off after a walk and even more so after Sunday as it was quite cold outside so the warm and cosy area that we were able to sit in did just the trick. We didn't have a reservation but they... More
