Relax and unwind while you enjoy the stunning views from our peaceful bedrooms, and outside dining area. The seasonal views of the Valley and Moors are breathtaking (the coastal mist adds real magic to the landscape). Lush green in the spring and summer and full of character and action in autumn and winter. Partridge, pheasant and deer are our companions in the milder months. Staying at The Culbone is a great way to experience life on Exmoor.

As soon as we walked through the door we were welcomed in! It was nice to bring our dogs along with us and they were treated so well too. Fantastic food! Spacious rooms and amazing views! Would go back and stay again definitely. Thank you!

We had a two night stay in room one, this is a lovely room with view of the valley and private outdoor patio area, the dog was welcome too! The food was great would recommend the Scallops and steaks, breakfast was also very good.

Popped in at lunchtime to book a table for the evening and were given our ideal slot. The restaurant is lovely inside plenty of room and great atmosphere. Our meal was gorgeous although a tiny bit pricey. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Lovely location too!

Stayed here with my boyfriend and his family, and as a vegetarian I was very pleasantly surprised that there wasn't a veggie lasagna in sight. Although there were only two veggie options for the main, both were different and looked delicious! I had the squash stuffed with mushrooms and blue cheese, it was amazing! And the morning breakfast was also... More

We stopped off for a coffee a few days before NY eve, after a friend recommended. We were led to a couple of chairs by the log burner. Coffee was delicious. Suitably impressed we booked for the first Sunday lunch of 2016. My husband had the best roast beef dinner and I had the best roast turkey dinner ever! Plenty... More

The total experience was superb. Warm welcome, well appointed bedroom, fine food and wines as well as a " gourmet" breakfast. Becky runs an excellent business.

Very warm and friendly pub offering a wide menu. We arrived late but the chef stayed to make sure we didn't leave feeling hungry. The food was to a very high standard and the service we received was excellent. We sipped our post meal coffee in front of the log burner on comfy armchairs and felt properly pampered.

Had the most amazing steak, best I have tasted for a long time. It was cooked to perfection. Stayed for 1 night so also had breakfast which was as much as I could eat. Will certainly be back.
