Relax and unwind while you enjoy the stunning views from our peaceful bedrooms, and outside dining area. The seasonal views of the Valley and Moors are breathtaking (the coastal mist adds real magic to the landscape). Lush green in the spring and summer and full of character and action in autumn and winter. Partridge, pheasant and deer are our companions in the milder months. Staying at The Culbone is a great way to experience life on Exmoor.

We came up here for my sisters birthday in February and the staff were all extremely polite and very nice, they were extremely quick to take orders and get drinks which is absolutely perfect! The food was absolutely delicious and couldnt have recommended it more! The steak I had was beautifully presented and was extremely well cooked! - Compliments to... More

We are regular visitors to Lynton and Lynmouth and have been meaning to go to the Culbone for a while. We now wish we had gone sooner! We were staying in Lynton and in our opinion the Culbone is up there with the Bistro in Lynmouth and the Oak tapas restaurant in Lynton. Well worth the journey from Lynton. The... More

My husband and I stopped off here on our way to Lynmouth. We have a house on Exmoor and have visited this pub on various occasions, for lunch. It is in a lovely position, especially in the summer, for walking and sightseeing. We were warmly greeted on arrival and our light lunch, although casual, far surpassed the 'pub lunch' basics... Our last visit to the Culbone Inn had made a lasting impression-an extremely favourable one. So as the Exmoor Food a festival was in full swing what better way to support local businesses and enjoy an affordable midweek meal than to book in for lunch there? Disappointingly, as it was half term the Culbone was not offering special rates but... More

Highly recommended. Local produce is a theme here. We had a really lovely early dinner, 6pm using the cinema-link option, and then went into Lynton to the Village Hall cinema. We Also stayed the night in a charming room with comfortable bed, but rather cold en-suite. Maybe there was something we didn't switch on? The staff and service were all... More
