I had a meal with two friends. The food was lovely washed down by a glass of scrumpy. The staff were very nice. Worth a visit

It has been recently refurbished and is quite pleasant and not overly modern. The food is fine for the money with all the usual on the menu, you can tell its not homemade food but as said fine for what you pay. There is a choice of local brews and again fairly priced.service was good.

Very busy pub. Really friendly with excellent freshly cooked hot pub grub. Full of locals which is a great endorsement in itself

Took my wife here for her birthday and she chose from the 'Specials' board BBQ chicken and pineapple. I can only describe it as a jar off bbq sauce and a tin of watery pineapple cubes poured over chicken and microwaved with what use to be cheese. The worst meal, if I can call it that I have ever experienced.... More

We had such a warm friendly welcome here from the locals, landlord & landlady that we ended up coming back here to eat, Tried a couple of the other local pubs but nowhere else beat the atmosphere of this place. Food was good and... More

Lovely little inn and enjoyed a good meal and real ales. Highly recommended - just starts a little late for some. 6.30 onwards so be aware.

Fantastic atmosphere, great value. If you ever see homemade steak, mushroom and Stilton pie you'd be silly not to go for it!

This pub is well worth a visit if only for it's real ales. Try the DOOM BAR, it's kept well and serves like a pint should be served, nice creamy head. This is a busy pub so if you wish to eat book early. Although we didn't eat (left it too late) the food looked good and was well received... More

This traditional village pub is under new management & the food & service is top notch. A warm welcome upon entering from enthusiastic and chatty staff, traditional pub fayre and pool table with juke box.
