We ended up here as the other eatery we were heading for was closed. We are not hard to please, but, we do like fresh, hot and tasty food-we were really glad that we did arrive at the Copper Kettle. We, as a party of four, enjoyed tasty omelettes with salad and cottage pie with garden vegetables. A bonus that... More

Since visiting the Copper Kettle at this time last year it has changed ownership. In my experience this can mean a lowering of standards. Not here though. Apart from a few alterations to the decor little has changed. You can expect the same warm welcome, good food, in clean surroundings at reasonable prices. We visited most days while we were... More

The Copper Kettle is a very pleasant cafe in the centre of the delightful Exmoor village of Dulverton. Open for breakfasts, lunches and teas, it is dog friendly, the food is good and reasonably priced, and we were given a very warm welcome by the owner. The home made soup was particularly good. Recommended.

Had been to the Copper Kettle a year or so ago and I believe that it has changed hands since then. The layout has been opened up and minimalised little and the cluttered charm has been slightly reduced but still a pleasant stop for a quality cream tea. We sat in the garden on an unusually sunny day for March,... More

We visited on the 22nd February 2014, the tea shop was busy and staff said we would probably have to wait about 30 mins for a table. So glad we waited, the food was excellent and homecooked. The staff were lovely and helpful and thanked us for waiting ( we were thoroughly spoilt). Look forward to visiting The Copper Kettle... More

Well for starters the dogs were made very welcome every time, even with muddy paws! Staff are very nice and the ambiance is cosy , understated but warm, Food choice is good and delightfully cooked. The cottage pies are superb and my wife loves the prawn open sandwich. A regular haunt for us while in Exmoor on holiday.

A pot of tea for two & one slice of each treacle & bakewell tart cost £11.00 very over priced for what it was ,rather too chewy & breifly microwaved to warm up , domestic science awful.sorry but an honest review. Although the waitress/owners were very attentive & pleasant & tea was good & hot we wouldn't want to be... More

We visited The Copper Kettle on the 7th January 2014 as we were visiting friends in the Dulverton area. Since the new owners have taken over, this establishment has gone from strength to strength. Brilliant food,(I had the salmon and mackerel pate' which was "to die for". Everything was so clean, and as all who visit there will know, the... More

Visited this delightful cafe/teashop today as part of my first visit to Dulverton. The staff were exceptionaly friendly, the environment quaint and homely as well as extremely clean, and the food simply wonderful in quality, taste and presentation. Scores highly on all fronts! Would really recommend this place for a meal or a lighter snack - the cakes looked wonderful... More
