Popular little place

Popped in for tea and cake as recomended by another couple staying in our hotel. A busy little place, full of locals from what I gather. Nice cake and tea which hit the spot. Given how many coffee shops there are In Dulverton, they must get it right alot.

Spent a week in Dulverton and thought we would have breakfast at the copper kettle to keep us going for our journey back home. Very friendly and welcoming. Lovely sausages and bacon (you can always tell the good produce!) very clean. The cakes looked smashing too but we were full up! Would recommend.

What a smashing café / restaurant right in the heart of pretty Dulverton - a super friendly welcome from the excellent staff - everything spotlessly clean - lovely home cooked food and a log burner keeping the whole place cosy - highly recommended !

Popped in here for coffee and tempted by the scones which were big, light and delicious. All kinds of coffee but shared a caffetiere and that too was just right. Cafe was packed but expect it to be as the staff very friendly and welcoming and the cakes on display looked good.

Underrated cafe, that does not get much publicity. The staff were pleasant and there was a homely atmosphere. Worth going there again when I am next in Dulverton.

We did not know where to go for afternoon tea and we asked a few local ladies where they would go for a really good quality cream tea. They all suggested the Copper Kettle and it did not disappoint. We had the cream tea and the portions were generous. The cream was rich and excellent quality as was the jam.... More

We were down in Somerset for a few days and were looking for something quick at Lunchtime. One or two places looked good from the outside, but The Copper Kettle was the busiest and on the assumption that that probably indicated it was good, we went in. It was a lovely little place and we were looked after very well.... More

My wife and I were making a circular trip around and through the Exmoor National Park and stopped in Dulverton for lunch. We had tea, sandwiches, and a small salad. The food was very good and the restaurant was very comfortable and attractive.

We found this place after stopping off in Dulverton for a quick wander around. We had tea / coffee / hot chocolate and a selection from the fabulous range of home baked cakes. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this place to anyone.
