Staying in Dulverton for a few days and had breakfast on three mornings, I have reviewed the Copper Kettle before and am delighted to report that the warm welcome and, friendly atmosphere is as good as ever and the freshly home cooked breakfast in our opinion is faultless. The quality and consisitancy of both food and service is born out by the... Now this was a great cup of tea served in china cups and guess what proper cups no mugs just nice gentle cups and lots of proper tea taste, just what was required a tired driver needed to face the rest of the day. Added to the tea a great big slice of chocolate cake just really well balanced with... More

We ate at the Copper Kettle in Dulverton twice in the last week and it was great. The food is fresh, tasty and reasonably priced and the staff were absolutely lovely. We went with our two year-old son and on both occasions requested meals that were not listed on the menu... and on both occasions they were more than happy... More

This is a lovely tea shop with a good garden. Friendly service - I wanted the fry-up and despite it being after the specified breakfast time, it wasn't a problem. The breakfasts were really nice and filling, the cream tea also very nice. However, I would say it was a touch on the pricey side. Two breakfasts, a pot of... More

Seriously, I would move to Dulverton just to be able to go to the Copper Kettle every day - it's like visiting your Granny's house and being spoilt rotten! Firstly the service is excellent, nothing is too much trouble - my hubby wanted a breakfast but it had gone beyond breakfast ordering, but they made him one anyway! Secondly, a... More

Called in after a day exploring Exmoor. Our B&B landlady had recommended it, and she was right. we seated our selves in the charming back garden. I had a massive slice of lemon meringue pie, and my wife's cream tea for one had enough jam and cream for four!

What a delightful place to sit and have tea. With a backdrop of hills visible from the green lawn. Very peaceful. The waitress was very friendly. We came after a visit to the Heritage centre but can't leave a review for that as it's not listed. The ladies there were so helpful and beguiling they made you feel you wanted... More
