Went with a friend Saturday very nice food we went for the baguettes Very unhurried place felt totally relaxed, brilliant service as well. I could say after visiting the other eateries I do believe that this place is the best in Clevedon. I will certainly be going back again and again.

Having come to this site to write this review I see that this cafe offers 'brunch', but be careful when you time this. We arrived at 11.30am for what I hoped would be a pleasant stop on our anniversary trip to beautiful Clevedon. Seeing that the luch menu didn't start until 12, we tried to order from the breakfast menu,... More

Ours was called Bill. There's one on all the tables, if you are lucky you might get your own name. A stroll and coffee stop away from the hell of the M5. Really good coffee with chunky toast and jam. Sit outside and you can see Cardiff! Only concern is the wonky tables which might cause a spill or two....

We thoroughly enjoyed: 1) medium rare beef which was perfectly cooked 2) delicious veggies, crispy roasties and crunchy Yorkshire pudding 3) lashings of gravy and fresh horseradish! 4) a good selection of drinks 5) attentive service

A reassuringly busy venue for hot and cold food and drinks on Clevedon seafront. Seating inside and out/ Clean facilities. Service is prompt and friendly. The cream teas are truly fabulous.

Had Sunday lunch here (24.8.2014), everything about the experience was fine with the exception of the food which was not warm enough, I would suggest the plates need to be kept at a higher temperature before the food is put on them and maybe serve an additional very hot jug of gravy, at £12.50 each I think they should be... Sunday lunch booked and eagerly awaited, I dropped my wife and friend off near the Restaurant. The seafront was chockablock with parked cars as was every side street nearby. I had to park about half a mile away at the top of the hill. About fifteen minutes later I arrived at the Restaurant having walked up a healthy appetite. It's... More

Visited today (22nd August ) for just hot drinks plus a toasted tea cake (plenty of butter with the tea cake). Staff friendly & helpful. Best decaf coffee I've ever had in a restaurant, strong and full of flavour. Even impressed with the singing coming from the kitchen. Well worth a visit.

We live in Clevedon and often wander to the seafront for breakfast. The first place we tried was 5, but not wishing to put all our eggs in one basket, have tried all the cafés along there. We now don't go anywhere other than 5! Yes it appears more expensive but remember the breakfasts include tea or coffee and remember... More
