Excellent Eggs Benedict and any breakfast very well done. Toast/bread in massive slices. Coffee great too. Altogether super place... read more

Fabulous Sunday Lunch. We choose Lamb and Pork from the specials menu. The food was served quickly even though the restaurant was full. Atmosphere was buzzing and staff were all doing a great job to ensure everything was just right. The roast was beautifully cooked with nice freshly cooked vegetables including a very lovely cauliflower cheese. For desert we went... More

We stopped here for brunch but missed breakfast (stops at 11am) so settled for toast/cream tea. They didn't have any Peppermint Tea and as I don't drink any other kind, I asked to swap for a hot chocolate. They charged full price for this, rather than the difference, which was disappointing as the two scones then came to £6 ish.... More

Our local hangout for breakfast. - amazing location and superb on a sunny day with views over the estuary, - top quality food, - extremely well priced, especially considering a hot drink is included in the price of a breakfast! - friendly and helpful staff, - only reason not 5 star is due to service been slow at times. Excellent food in a lovely setting. We only had fairly light lunch but service and food was fantastic. We were also tempted by the deserts which lived up to anticipation!

We went into Number 5 with no preconceptions but as soon as we stepped inside I knew we were in for a treat. It was quite early for lunch and although the place was busy, it didn't feel crowded. The coffee was great, portions were large, staff were friendly and the decor and facilities in general were good.

We just called in for a cup of tea and saw other people having the cream tea so ordered one between the two of us. It was superb and huge -two light but very large scones, proper leaf tea in a teapot and huge pots of jam and cream. I would defy anyone to eat the whole thing themselves. we... More

What a find! Stopped off for breakfast en route to Cornwall. Very welcoming, excellent breakfast, great service. We will definitely recommend to others and will return the next time we are down this way.

I love coming here on a sunny day and having a tasty lunch outside as I can sit there withy dogs. I'm never disappointed but was this time I was. Service was slow, the patio area looked dirty and after ordering and waiting half an hour, a young waitress ( who was more interested in making sure her hair was... More
