Almost too good!

A fantastic place with great food and service. There was a great selection including lots of vegetarian options which you don't often get, so that was nice. There were about 30 of us - young and older! Each had a 3 course meal and plenty to drink. The staff were extremely helpful. The food was home cooked and very tasty. This was an evening event and we had the whole restaurant for our party.

It seems a very popular place and I can see why! The Sunday lunches looked amazing. However, we had a nice (generous) piece of chocolate and Guinness cake! Perfect location, especially on a nice sunny day. Staff were very friendly and great to see a non-smoking (not that there were smokers) area outside.

Once again the weather man had got in wrong, it was 12.30pm and the sun was beating down, we found an ace parking spot and fancied lunch. This place looked inviting, tables outside and in, the menu was not too complex or long which is always a good sign, not to many dishes generally means good cooked food. My burger... More

It's just after 2 o'clock, very busy, folks are having their Sunday lunch, all we want is a Tea/Coffee & a slice of cake," no problem sir, can you hold on for a moment? we need to do a bit of reorganising so we can find you 4 seats together" that is exactly what happened . There is only 1... More

We stopped in for a quick bite and had a lovely surprise by the excellent standard. I had a chai latte and my wife had a hot chocolate, both with a warm scone, cream and jam. Mine was far better than any chain coffee shop and my wife said it was the nicest hot chocolate she has had. Will be... More

I dropped in for breakfast on a Friday at 9:00. When I entered I was ignored, so sat myself down at a vacant table. After 10 minutes a waitress took my order (full English). During the preceding 10 minutes the staff were busy putting reserved signs on table for reservations an hour an a half ahead or even at lunch... More

My wife and I were in Clevedon on Saturday, so thought we would pop into No 5 for Coffee and Cake. All was ok until I asked for the bill which was £7.80, when I offered my Debit Card I was told that they do not accept cards under £10 unless you pay a £1 surcharge which I think is... More

Don't usually write reviews but so enjoyed lunch today. Had heard great things about menu here and it was even better than had imagined! I chose the frittata with roasted squash, tofu, spinach and tomato and salad. Was stunning in flavour, texture and presentation...watched other dishes being served and they all looked equally amazing!! The fact I could enjoy this... More
