4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2014 NEW

We arrived late afternoon on a sunny Saturday in July and they had been very busy. We asked for a cream tea and had the last two scones. I am always fussy with my cream teas and have had some pretty rough ones in the past but this one was excellent. Two large warm scones, a pot piled high with... More

Having visited Five numerous times I used to find the staff were the biggest down fall but lately they have improved a great deal, new staff are lovely and very helpful. Food is still lovely and the cakes are fab! Not over priced either. Always my favourite place in clevedon.

Four of us turned up for breakfast before playing a round of golf at the local club. There was no one else in the cafe at the time. We were well looked after by friendly and helpful staff. We all opted for the "small breakfast" at £6.25. And it lived up to it's name... I had a single sausage, a single... More

Hi there.. Thankyou for your positive comments about our cafe and service that we offer.. I am very disappointed to read your breakfast observations as we always have such positive feedback ! We do use large plates for all our food presentation, as it is modern and clean..I am sorry that you did not appreciate that. With regards to the... More

Attended a party here last night. What a fabulous place. Staff wonderful, food wonderful & setting & whole experience superb. Always looked across whilst walking on the sea front & thought must visit that place, so glad to have experienced it & definitely will visit again. Fish pie...yum, yum, thought my homemade one was the best but theirs just beat... More

We often go to Clevedon at weekends to walk along the sea front as it’s close to home and a very pleasant place to visit. Usually we end our walk with a visit to Five the Beach and I thought it was time to write a review for this wonderful little café. We’ve only ever had coffee and cake but... More

After a bracing walk along the seafront this is the place to enjoy a bowl of their very tasty homemade soup. We had courgette and basil on the day we called and it was fabulous. The cakes are lovely too.

We had made the short drive from Bristol out to Clevedon, & spoilt my folks to tea & scones here at Number 5. It's location on the seafront means you can't miss it, and of course offers delightful views across the bay, promenade & of the Victorian Pier. There is outdoor seating available which was just perfect, as we were... More

Just moved to the area and it was a Lovely sunny day so me and a friend thought we would go for lunch. We chose no.5 because of the beautiful views and the simple but delicious looking menu. We had a burger and a goats cheese baguette which were great and ordered what we thought was a side of calamari... More
