This was always one of the best gastro pubs about. Open again now and will very soon regain the old reputation of good food and value. Very warm welcome by a landlord/lady who want to be as good as they can

First visit to the Enmore Inn . Discovered that it has just been taken over by a lovely young lady called Emma and her partner (he does the cooking). We decided to have the 2 for £10 special, cod ,fish and chips with a side salad. Excellent choice, the fish was very tasty and for the price the meal was... More

Went there during week of 22nd August, booked for 3pm there were 8 of us. We were the last to eat on that session, but the owner/staff/food were great.Rather than getting the left overs for that session all meats/veg were fresh and good quality. Excellent portion size well cooked . Well done guys/girls we were impressed.

Liked the atmosphere and the prices. The meal was excellent and there was a choice of four different meats. The puds were great value.

We went on a friends recommendation, the food was very good, a selection of 4 meats available and plenty of veg choice, the Yorkshire puddings were homemade which was welcome change to other carveries I've had.

The pub interior leaves something to be desired as it's a little on the run down side. There were no menus on the table but we were handed a home printed menu. Unfortunately for me being a vegetarian the menu had no vegetarian options at all and when asked what options they had, I was only told 2 options but... More

So sorry to hear you thought your visit was "Disappointing" we agree that the pub does need a Lick of paint and new carpets but we only took over the business as managers in April and we want to look at doing a bit of a refit in January maybe you would like to tell... Great value - good food, love the rump and rib-eye steaks on Grill Nights. Always polite and friendly. Relaxing place to eat - no stress. Can recommend the Sauvignon Blanc!

After being insulted by the barman in the Tynte Arms Inn along the road, we where pleasantly overwhelmed with a genuine, helpful and enthusiastic welcome. Brilliant menu with a good choice and varying prices. Very friendly staff, warm, clean and inviting atmosphere. And the food was excellent. Would defiantly go there again and avoid the Tynte Arms like the plague.

The welcome from all the staff was faultless. We booked a table for lunch carvery, the pub was fairly busy when we arrived but didn't have to wait too long for service. The carvery was ok, the meat was very good the veg is get hot by keeping it in hot water which I don't personally like and the roasties... More
