Despite some concerns about recent poor reviews, which I specifically pointed out when booking the table, the service was extremely slow to the point that we had to change taxi times that were booked for 10.15. The staff were inattentive and surly - I was asked to pass plates to a waitress, with no thanks. The food was average, fish... More

Eaten here twice, both times with work colleagues. Enjoyed the food both times although the 2nd time I found the fixed menu a little limited. The decor is very nice and the wine selection is 2nd to none. There is limited parking and a small outside seating area. Would recommend but I would suggest checking the menu first.

The food looked really inviting from the menu and there was a good choice. I have been here before and enjoyed the steak I had. This time I chose Fishcakes followed by Seabass which I thought was a good choice. The fishcakes were very good and had good flavour, however the risotto the Seabass was served on was fairly tasteless.... More

This brasserie has an interesting menu, with a mediterranean spin. Service is good, and the food is well cooked and presented. The ambience is relaxing, and this is a good place to eat with friends. There is no pressure on time, (not that service is slow) and we were able to enjoy a good meal with old friends and spend... More

We have eaten here several times, most recently last night, & have always had excellent food. Can't understand the comments about the place having no atmosphere either....again we have always found it to be pleasant with quite a buzzy atmosphere. Menu is varied without being over long, & food quality is consistently good. Well decorated - like the idea of... More

After looking through the windows at Fennel's just down the road, we decided to bypass that shabby looking place and walked a bit further down to the much brighter looking Henri's Bar. We ordered a mixed grill, the duck breast and a bambino's tomato pasta. The food was absolutely superb and we were served in good time. We had asked... More

After a bad experience at the nearby Fennels restaurant the previous evening, we rediscovered Henri's having eaten there around a year ago.We were made to feel very welcome and the whole experience was excellent. The décor is wonderful and we both felt very comfortable, The staff are very attentive and we were quickly served with a lovely starter followed by... More

Lamb... More

The food leaves a lot to be desired, it is vastly overpriced, as for the manager, he is self important, rude, lazy and did not give two hoots about the fact that we had been overcharged on the price we had been told by the waitress for the wine. Even though he admitted the staff had told us the wrong... More

We decided to go to here for a lunch - it was very quiet which concerned me a little but I needn't have worried. The waitress was friendly and efficient, ensuring we had everything we needed whilst not being intrusive. We went for the £9.95 two course lunch which was excellent value. The carrot and coriander soup with olive bread... More
