Appendix to my review of 13th June

I ate an evening meal in the hotel restaurant. I ordered a Caesar Salad (£9) which was a miserable effort as I described in my review of 13 June. I have attached photo's for the Chef to give some idea of what a Caesar salad should be like

I attended this restaurant on Thursday 7 January 2016 in a party of seven. Four of us ordered beef and when the meals arrived they were served on cold plates and the food which consisted of beef a few carrots, a Yorkshire pudding and what can only be described as fried potato was also cold. We were all expecting side... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for our anniversary and decided to use the resteraunt for the first nights meal. The atmosphere was lovely, and the waiters and staff were very accommodating, i have a few issues however. 1. The room itself was very cold, as we had dressed for the occasion and i was only wearing a shirt, considering... More

If you are passing through Shifnal and need to stop somewhere to eat, then by all means go to the Park House Hotel. The menu is unimaginative and the food edible, so it is OK for filling a hole, but if you want to go out for a celebratory meal then give Butler's Bar and Restaurant a wide berth. This... More

28-day aged sirloin that had been ruined. Shame. And it was expensive too, I've had better from ASDA for £4. Wine by the glass ain't cheap either...

Totally uninspiring. Nowhere near A la Carte standard as expected. The wine menu was more extensive than the food menu! Our steak & lamb choices were cooked just perfectly but the steak especially could have been anything as there was no taste/flavour to it. Hugely disappointing for our special weekend.

Love the food and great service. The wine list is not bad either. The only dislike sometimes the corners of the resturant can be dark, but it's only a minor dislike

A good selection of food only comment here would be if you like plain food because of medical problems or just do not like too much spices then the choice is limited. But what is served is of a very high quality and good value for money. It gave us a good indication of the food served the next night... More
