Friendly ,efficient service, good food and well priced, would recommend. I had roast lamb and my friend had the breakfast, both were piping hot, fresh and well cooked.

Went in there at noon on Thursday, waited 22min to get served for late breakfast, food took another 37min, most of it was under cooked, sausage raw in middle, eggs not cooked, bacon that was half fat, even the toast was dry and cold, never received our drinks with meal and my friend was told to get his own glass... We went here as we fancied a roast lunch on a Friday. You receive a warm friendly welcome and a menu that is simple and straight to the point. The food was served quickly and very tasty homecooked food. Ideal for breakfast, roast lunch or quick bite to eat.

Nicely priced meals, but overall just average food. Went in for lunch and was quite crowded. Seems to cater more for food on a lunch time than as a pub.

Not as it should really matter as the food is OK at the Oswestrian. But it would have been nice to have been warned that the Oswestrian is the local Conservative club which has been opened to the public.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. The two people I was with had been here before and said how they enjoyed it. What a nice find. We had Ham sandwich's each with salad and Tea/Coffee. Nice friendly staff, very pleasant and helpfull. I just want to say....what a real nice place....I would definately go back.

It was surprising to find a good, well furnished restaurant in an old corner pub. The spotless dining area was well furnished and the Banqueting Room was attractive. My wife and I ordered a "small" breakfast that was served on a hot plate and cooked to a turn. Great! We are going back for a meal in the near future... More
