Dinner with friends on a Saturday night. Not overly busy, seated promptly, staff polite. Informed of no burgers left, which was okay, but I thought it a little odd as the burgers make up 1/3 of the menu. Sadly lacking in veggie options for my friend, that said, the pie she had, she said was good... read more

Visited on Saturday evening for the "Burns Night" evening. Immediately knew it was going to be a great night. The warm and cosy bar was already busy at 6pm and the restaurant soon filled up. All the staff were friendly & helpful, and the food was excellent. We opted for the Jack stack burger, and weren't disappointed, with haggis added... More

The service was excellent, only to be expected really as there were not that many customers. The meals were very good, but I could not give more... More

We are confident that you would have enjoyed the same service on the other nights this week when we have been fully booked. it is not clear from your remarks whether your party had... More

We booked our table for 7 and we were promptly taken to table after drinks were ordered. They've even put Christmas crackers on our table which was a lovely touch. There were 7 off on our works do from premier shop Whittington. The food was served promptly, really was lovely, viva burgers AMAZING. Rump steak fish and pies. So all... More

Recently visited as a party of 4 on a Tuesday Evening. The special was steak and ale pie but was not available....told we could have it the next night(?) 2 members of the party ordered fish and chips and the title of this review reflects what we received. It was half a fish fillet and it reminded us of birds-eye... More
