Good tasty, fresh food

On a quiet early Tuesday evening and plenty of free tables, so no need to book. I chose the Scampi and Hubbie chose Sirloin, both with chips and salad. Our meals arrived in a reasonable time and both plates were both fresh to look at and tasting, and although hot, they were not particularly... read more

We stopped for dinner as a family of 4 adults. It was a hot summers evening and the pub was quite busy. We were seated easily as there are tables inside and out back. Ample parking too it has to be said which is not obvious from the road. Placing orders at the bar was a simple task and quick... More

Great staff good beer and they are dog lovers can't ask more for a good local. I often pop in with the dogs fir a quick pint and the kids love the outdoor play area and all weather marquee outside. If your Pekish there is plenty on other for good pub grub.

Never a bad pint, good for a bite to eat. Owners friendly enough and always feel welcome as a semi-regular customer. Would recommend.

We've visited the lamb for over 20 years, and never has the food been so poor, it's like they have stopped trying! Chilli and chips - 9.95 frozen chips and chilli from a cheap cash and carry tin. Such a shame as it was great now really poor standards and expensive for what it was

I taken a group of US visitors here several times now and it's been enjoyable on each occasion. Food is good quality with generous portions. The beer selection is usually good. It's a lovely venue and the only complaint might be that the staff never give the impression of really knowing what their doing but at least all seem good... More
