Great fish treat!

Ordered soup and had to send three back as it just wasn't hot, had an apology from the waitress and they were took off our bill. When our mains came out, they were all cooked beautifully the only thing that did annoy us was the waitress passed food over my head to get to my friend when there was no... More

I'll go with "restaurant with a pub". The foods fairly good for the money - but not outstanding; you don't feel like you've robbed them. A bit more interesting food-wise than the umpteen fried cheese chains you find. The beer is also quite decent if you like real ales which I do - a little too much sometimes! Nice beer... More

We visit very regularly and the food is always of a high standard. The supply of fresh vegetables is bottomless the menu vast. Excellent for a very special occasion without breaking the bank. Staff always perfect.

Just had a beautiful Sunday lunch here, it was delicious.. We both had lamb roast, which was served with a huge yorkie, lovely stuffing, mash, roast and tasty gravy, also served separate a bowl of cauliflower, broc, and carrots, which were all very fresh and hot. £9.95 each, but more than worth it.. Will defiantly be visiting again.

Every first Thursday in month the Robin Hood Mini Club have a run out & February's run was to the Carnarvon Arms. We had tried to book in November 2014 but unfortunately they were very busy with several large parties already booked in so we decided to rearrange our visit in the new year. Although we were disappointed not to... More

We had a small private dining room reserved for our monthly trip out to an eatery, it was like being in the officers dining room of an old ship, the staff were very pleasant and helpful and we did not have to wait for our orders very long at all. Our triable really enjoyed our choices, I had the fish... More
