Lovely atmosphere, great, friendly staff, the food looked and tasted like it was made to order, which would explain the wait, but it's worth it! Staff were attentive. Food was lovely, portions were more than enough and a very good price for the quality, we'll definitely be going back at some point

Mw and a few friends had been recommended but as we sat down we got reeled off all the things on menu we couldn't have. Then ordered starters and got told we couldn't have another load of things we couldn't have. If it is not on menu then please don't advertise. In the end we decided not to have starters... More

Dear CharlieBum Sorry to hear you experienced some problems here at The Coopers. We do pride ourselves in serving fresh produce cooked to order and that’s why you were recommended to us. I can only apologise that we had ran out of certain dishes but that happens occasionally when we have been very busy So we have to obviously produce... More

Went for tea with friends on a Wednesday evening, quite busy for a weekday. First time any of us had been since it had been redone. Nice decor and atmosphere. Staff were friendly but service was a bit slow, took awhile to get our drinks after ordering and had to wait quite a while for our food to come. When... More

We are well known for our portion size here at the coopers sorry if this put you off a little but we would rather serve more than not enough. If you had let a member of staff know about your vegetables we would have being happy to have replaced them for you. Thanks for your positive comments. More

Tastey food and extensive menu, very affordable. Staff are always very polite and helpful, and the portion sizes are quite generous. Definitely try the chips!

Visited with a Party of 14 work mates, the food was excellent I had the Chicken skewers with Tandoori, huge plateful with peppers onions, salad and dips as well as pitta bread, Lovely! The food was good and quite large servings but the service was average and the staff didn't appear to be happy in their work! I would visit again but if the management could just encourage their team to be a bit more cheerfull if would make for a more enjoyable experience for your customers!

Went to coopers with family and will definitely be visiting again. We visited on a Friday evening and even though there was six of us and we hadn't booked, we were able to be seated pretty much straight away. Had a great Father's Day meal today. Didn't book until this morning but still managed to get a table for 6. Good service. Menu was good and varied to suit all tastes. Meal was excellent. Well presented and plenty of it. Brought us extra gravy and mint sauce and offered any other sauces. Had a lovely relaxing meal.
