We met some local friends there as they recommended it for the food. We arrived 1h00 early and settled down with our dog in the bar side and surfed online . The landlady was lovely and friendly. A young bloke (which I first presumed was another nice client) turned out to be the chef. And great he turned out to... More

Great pub serving mainly traditional 'English' type dishes along with some great Pizzas. Warm fire when it gets a bit colder as it was last night. The landlady and landlord take time out to talk to visitors old and new. Been a few times now and never been disappointed. Happily recommend this small village pub.

Home cooked pizzas in a local village pub? Yes! and they are great - lovely thin crispy bases. They had a good wine selection too. Friendly staff and locals.

We visited The Unicorn on a weekday lunchtime to meet up with work colleagues for a birthday celebration. As it was so hot and sunny, we decided to sit outside. The cleanliness of the chairs and tables left a bit to be desired but we managed to find a suitable perch for 12 of us. No original cider of any... More

We visited The Unicorn has a change from our usually place, the carvery was excellent, first tiime, I've seen the oblong plates available and a nice change being able to get to my meat without it being under the veg and potatoes. The young staff were attentive without being in in my face and all with a smile and nothing... More
