After visiting the other indian restaurant in Seahouses and not liking it we went to the Indian Brasserie a few days later as we are seasoned curry addicts! This restaurant cannot be faulted. It's one if the best curries we have ever had and that's saying something for us. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming but the food is so... More

I holiday in Northumberland frequently and have always avoided the two Indian restaurants in Seahouses because there are that many good restaurants in the area that serve very good locally sourced food and Indians at home are ten a penny. However this time we were tempted by the smell of curry so we thought we would give it a try.... More

There's nothing spectacularly wrong with this restaurant, it's just that there's nothing spectacular about it at all. Pickle tray portions very small, food not served in hot dishes so cooled quickly. Tried the house special naan and was very fluffy and tasty. Boys enjoyed their chicken tikka, our dishes were pretty mediocre but then we are spoilt with an Akbars... More

As Indian restaurants go it was ok a little bit over priced for me.Tables are too close together. Also found customer service was lacking with some staff like I have said before a smile a please and a thank you go along way.Food wise it was ok nothing special some of the dishes were for me a bit plain. This is just... entertaining waiter and good location but after fairly decent starters the main course was a real let down, Impossible to do but somehow they managed to serve up a fish curry that literally tasted of nothing. Worst restaurant curry I have ever had. Overpriced English dishes but it is a holiday destination. Despite this it was a good night out.

Despite option in TA, no delivery! After deciding we would like Indian and checking this place delivered, we had a few beers. Need to change listing on TA. A bit unfair to score all 1s but no other way for this review to be accepted

Lovely food and lots of choice. The restaurant was full on a Tuesday and the staff were very happy & friendly. It was nice to have a laugh with the waiter!

Attentive and friendly service and the starter mixed platter was good. Prices OK too. But the mains let the evening down - a Lamb Balti so spicy that nothing could be tasted, except spice that is. So it was impossible to tell whether the lamb was succulent or even if it was lamb, the same for the other ingredients. Also,... More
