A cold wintry Saturday night....6 friends rocked up here in Seahouses and were treated to a real experience. Great service - and fun too - but the food for some experienced Indian food lovers was exceptional. I had the Chicken Tikka Vindaloo and it was just superb - fluffy rice and portions just right.

Coming from the curry capital of England, I didn't have high expectations of what this small seaside town's curry house would have to offer. How wrong I was!! It was one of the tastiest curries I've ever had. Moreover, having expressed a desire to eat a dry and hot curry, preferably with added spinach, the waiter's helpfulness and recommendation could... We have eaten in this restaurant several times and although the service is slow the food normally makes up for it. However we had a takeaway which was awful, it seems if you have a takeaway they think they can serve you with poor quality food, a few months ago we ordered a king prawn dish which when opened consisted... My husband and I ate here on wed 26th nov - we always eat here whenever we are up this part if the country and have never had anything to complain about whatsoever. Our poppadoms were fresh, crisp and still warm, the pickle tray was large enough and the starters were tasty and well presented. Our main courses were chicken... More

We came to Seahouses to dive. Having been at the Links hotel on the Friday night we decided to have a change and try one of the Indian places in Seahouses. We checked TripAdvisor and the two places were shown to be about equal so the decision was really down to the toss of a coin. We decided to go... More

Absolutely disappointed, worst service ever out of all the Indian restaurants I've visited and that's a lot! Group of 4 visited and ordered simple poppadoms and pickle tray, waited 15 minutes to come to the table after waiting a 10 to 15 minutes prior for drinks!,,(we were the second table sitting with no other people in at this time! Poppadoms... More

After eating old reheated popadoms that we had to send back as they were chewy and having them put under an oven to "crisp" up they still were only just bearable. We entered the restaurant at 7.30pm and were the 2nd group into the restaurant, by 8.40 we still had not received our starters even though other diners who entered... More

After visiting the other indian restaurant in Seahouses and not liking it we went to the Indian Brasserie a few days later as we are seasoned curry addicts! This restaurant cannot be faulted. It's one if the best curries we have ever had and that's saying something for us. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming but the food is so... More
