Nice surprise

We popped in here on the off chance it was dog friendly as we fancied a bite to eat & it was a nice place to enjoy a drink & lunch. We had a bite from the special board & the quality for the price was excellent & the hand cut chips are proper old style chips as chips should... read more

Nice little friendly pub, watched the football here with my husband and the atmosphere was lovely. Visiting Seahouses again in March so will definitely return.

This was the first place we went to when we arrived as we wanted to watch the Football on TV. A proper pub and not one of the all look the same type of pub. Took a bit of stick from the gaffer and a couple of locals as Birmingham weren't at their best that day.Got my own back the... More

Very tired looking bar. No beer on tap available when we went and I would suggest no attempt to be welcoming. We were staying in a local cottage and had intended to make this a place we could pop into for an early evening drink. As it was we drank up quickly and left. Excellent location.

Wandered in for a drink, bar staff seemed not to know what beer they had on. The room didnt seem to clean and the atmosphere wasnt that welcoming to anyone the locals didn't seem to know. Drank up and left and will not be hurrying back.

Having previously been in the Black Swan on numerous occasions over the last three years the wife and I were disappointed to find that the Swan had stopped doing meals which I could only describe as wonderful apparently the chef has moved to Australia but I can't understand why Gill the landlord hasn't found a replacement on first impressions of... Having been to Seahouses many times and visited this pub before we decided to walk up the bank and have a drink. On entering we ordered 2 glasses of wine , it was very obvious quite soon there was this disgusting smell, hence we didn`t linger over our drinks. We were the only `visitors` in the bar but evidently several... More
